As I find myself looking for a diesel mechanic in Quincy, IL. I realize how important it is for me to share our experience with Russell Truck Repair in Montgomery, AL. since it was the last place we got work done on 1 of our 18 wheelers. As a small fleet company sometimes it is hard to chose a mechanic who will do a good job and not charge an arm & a leg.

I took a chance with Russell Repairs and was beyond satisfied. Our truck was broken down on the hwy. and we called them for road service. They were there faster than their estimated time. They did a great job and had our driver up and running way before I could get to the office and call in for payment, lol.

Only concern is that I wish they would've given my driver the part they removed since it had warranty, but lesson learned, now I make sure to tell our drivers to request any replaced parts.

Wow wow the owner very honest guy went in for smell coming in the cab told me what's wrong with the truck and how long its going to take giving me the option to fix it there or drive home to Illinois. On top of it he did not charge me a penny to look at the issue.

I had the misfortune of having an axle bearing on my RV burn out on New Years Eve afternoon (12/31/2015). I contacted Russell's on the recommendation of Wood's RV Park in Montgomery, Alabama. Russell's mechanic, Cliff, came out and determined the bearing and hub needed to be replaced. Cliff got the parts ordered, but the parts would not ship until Monday (1/4/2016). Cliff was there early Tuesday morning, did the repairs, and I was my way before noon. I could not have asked for better services and the prices were less than I would have paid at an RV dealer.
