This may be the best barbecue in Detroit. Order the Detroiter if you want to try a little of everything.

Great food, great place and a fantastic beer selection! Prices are very reasonable. Management went out of their way to check on us to make sure we had a great experience. Impressive

The ribs were insanely hot and spicy!
My eyes burned and watered.
I heard two others complain at other tables.
It was just ridiculous!
The pulled pork was too tough!

Service was way slow and the bartender's are rude as hell. First time going in. I'll never be back. Bartenders were more consistent with Thier "regulars" then for anyone else. We ended up leaving after two beers. Only stayed for two thinking the service would get better. Nope!! Don't waste your time or money there.

A group of 4 of us went to Rub around 7PM this last Saturday. We knew it was going to be busy because all of downtown is busy. What we didn't expect is the rude service. When we arrived there was no host person to seat us. We waited a few minutes and then one of the wait staff finally saw us and seated us. When we sat down we didn't get a server for another 5 minutes. We were ready to order when she got there. We placed our order and my friend got the entirely wrong drink than what she ordered. She also asked for water 3 times before it was finally brought. The server had a horrible attitude. It took 1.5 hours for our food to arrive which was not good enough to wait for 1.5 hours. 3 of us got our meals but she delivered my other friend's rib tips to the wrong table. When the mistake was discovered she said they were out of wing tips and he ended up having to get ribs instead. Nothing was taken off the bill for any of this and not even a manager came to apologize. We will never go back.

Allison was a great server! We went here with a big group of friends for a birthday party and she made sure we got all our drinks with a smile! I highly suggest going here and make sure you get her as a server! She was AWESOME.
