Why do I try and go to nails places other than Nails La La?! This was the worst DELUXE pedicure ever. I took my pregnant daughter and she had to kindly point out to my tech that she skipped ANY kind of massage. Quickly wiping a scrub on and then immediately off doesn’t constitute a massage. My daughter’s tech rushed through her pedicure and my tech was painfully slow and obviously a new graduate. The color options and magazines were old. Not a La La experience. This place could learn a lot from them! This was just an overpriced waste of my time and money. Not pamperingat all!!! I saw a cheese grater being used too!!! Run
Phillip was great. I will be a repeat customer. 😊
Nail tech very professional and patient. Strong chemical smell though. Had to sit on barstool at bar for mani. Obvious very popular place. Will be back, but next time with a reservation.
Terrific service and friendly staff.
Kind, quick and professional. I've been going here for years.
BEWARE OF WHO DOES YOUR SERVICE! Overpaid for a pedicure described to treat dry heels for the service to be rushed and not have any focus on my heels at all. In fact, I left with one of my feet smoother than the other. The color looked as if a kindergartener did them. I will say that the man who did my gel manicure was fantastic, I wish I had gotten his name.
Not happy with this place. Pretty dissapointed since there were so many good reviews. I called before hand and asked the price for the service I wanted and was told one thing, then was charged $10 more than what I was told! $38 for a basic full set?! That's absurd and totally overpriced.
On top of it all, they made my acrylic nails so short that you can see my fingertips. It's like I don't even have acrylic nails on. Never returning to this salon.
Employees are so kind and do a great job.
Pedicure was super rushed it was probably like a 15 min pedi and the pedicure chairs and other parts of the salon were very dirty looking. I've been here several times it has potential but they need to pay more attention to detail probably not a huge concern for them because of the volume of people they get. Either way I expect them to take their time and at least clean the place. I probably won't be back. Only plus was the paint job wasn't bad on my toes.
Yeah I get the occasional pedicure. I like it too!
There. I said it.
Sweet wife and I declared today to be "Date-Day" (after the school drop-off) and so after a choice breakfast at Oleans (have you been? - you ought to check it out), we motored north to Royal Nail, my wife's go-to for nearly a decade.
Great service - professional environment - organized/structured layout. Very friendly and efficient.
Drinks were offered and so, a strict "When in Rome" constructionist, I opted for the Mimosa. The over-the-topness of one on a Monday morn' was befitting of the event.
Pedicure was solid. I did chuckle a bit when, fully honest, the technician proclaimed "I'm going to do the best I can, but I can't guarantee perfection!" (In her defense, my feet are right off of early man's in the middle-paleolithic era.)
I don't have the stones Gordon C., has to exuberantly go on about the experience - but I definitely second his position.
So - guys - go get a pedicure here. You'll like it.
Hell, what's not to like?
p.s., call me petty, but the mimosa included a sparkling (certainly not champagne) that was seriously sweet. I'd suggest the house looks at Freixenet Brut in bulk. Not champagne, but the Spanish cava (to me) is virtually indistinguishable and pennies on the value-dollar! It would make a better Mimosa. Call me peevish if you will.
Royal Nail is a large nail salon with plenty of stations for nails and pedi chairs. The staff is very friendly and highly skilled. This salon is often busy so making an appointment is a good idea. Each nail station has a small TV which is good if you don't want to chat.
There is a good selection of OPI and China Glaze polish colors, too!
I came to get a pedicure with my husband. We chose the basic pedicure during our visit.
This was the fastest and most rushed pedicure I've experienced in 10 years! The man put a blue scrub on my legs and rubbed my feet and legs so hard with it that the skin is still red and splotchy even when I came home. Everything was super rushed and very painful for me.
At one point I thought he cut me when he was trimming my cuticles because of how bad it hurt me. The polish looks okay but he shaped my toe nails in a weird and uneven shape. I am very dissatisfied and felt like crying when I got in the car because of my dissapointment.
I decided to not even bother giving a tip because honestly I didn't even want to ever come back.
I came here to relax and truly had a HORRIBLE experience instead.
