Fun but noisy. Great place for a rum runner or meal with kids. Eclectic menu has something for everyone. Vegetarian options can be limited

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants. Went last night, things seemed different. Didn't see any of the regular wait staff, (who were always amazing!) Drinks were different.. not bad, but not how it has always been. I will certainly go back. Hopefully last night things were just "off".

Very high prices for very little and not very edible food! I ordered a salad with fish and chips and I was very disappointed! The salad was a spinach salad and the very first bite of it I had a mouth full of sand! It obviously wasn't even tried to have been washed and soaked prior to serving it! I complained and sent it back and was delivered a new salad that was just as awful with sand as it was before, if not worse.
The fish and chips were very oily, and you could taste that the oil was very old and hadn't been changed for quite a while, and way over cooked the first time they delivered it to me. The second time they were just as oily from the old oil, but they were at least cooked a little better, although still inedible. When I made my complaint about it, I was told that the kitchen had redone my order and if I didn't like it, it was not their fault! AND I was STILL charged for the entire meal! Very poor treatment for a really awful and expensive meal, for the quantity, in a restaurant that is so loud that you couldn't even hear the person who was sitting right across the table.
If you are just going to get drunk at the bar, then you probably won't care about the noise. If you are going to get food and think that it's going to be a good meal in a relaxing place to eat and talk to your friends or family, then you would be very sorely mistaken about both!response / report this review -

All in all a pleasant meal. My Lobster was cooked properly, was a good size and presented nicely. The Mussel appetizer was real good and their Coffee was far and above better than most Restaurants I've been to. The Waiter and Kitchen we're right on target, no excessive waiting for ordering or food delivery. The interior decor was interesting and comfortable. I'm a value oriented person and feel that portion size and quality we're working in my favor. The Cheese cake was a bit dry and disappointing but didn't ruin an otherwise decent evening.

Usually a great place to get your fill of some tasty food and drinks. Except that my last visit through, I was denied being served a beer. I came in, inquired about outdoor seating for my party of 4, and decided to sit inside. We all ordered food and beers, was carded and myself was the only one to receive a water. Manager "didn't feel comfortable" serving me. I'm 30 years old. I was offered no other explanation for their denial. It's their call, I understand, but by the same token, I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Excellent! I thought the food was superb, had a burger topped with a lobster. Staff were excellent (real friendly) but like a other reviewer, I am not even close. Would eat there often otherwise.

Good place for lunch. Not sure about dinner. The food was good. Very typical American-style food. Good for a change of venue.

Excellent food!!! I wish i lived closer so i could come back. If im in the area again i definitely will be back here again. A bang for your buck with the portion size. Excellent staff, very friendly! This place is worth your time to visit here.

Service is great here. Nice family oriented place. Been going since I was a kid every now and then. Bar scene is fun. Especially in the summer. My gripe is the food. It's.ok. If your into frozen everything. It's for you. I'm a hard critic when it comes to food and Rosie's just doesn't do it for me.
