Good place to enjoy an upscale Mexican meal with your friends the menu is mainly Mexican Gourmet. prices are reasonable and drinks are adequate. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Classy atmosphere and the fish tacos were really good. Margaritas were pretty nice but not out of this world although this place is still a solid spot for some Mexican food and drinks.

My favorite Mexican place. Would definitely recommend stopping by during restaurant week.
Caesar Salad is worth a try, has an obvious Mexican twist that sets it apart from every other Caesar salad I’ve had.
Their Michelado is nothing to be joked about. Has more heat than I could comfortably handle with lunch.response / report this review -

Food is good, but when you order table side guacamole, don't expect the show. They do it at their guacamole bar and then bring it to your table. Way overpriced for the portion. Servers had a bit of attitude when we asked why it wasn't table side.

The drinks menu is great but waiter's got an attitude problem. We went on a date and was greeted by the usher. We intended to just have drinks but she didn't ask so she sat us at the table (the restaurant wasn't even full). The waiter came by, took our drink orders and ask if we wanted to anything to eat. When we said we were mainly here for drinks, the waiter said to us "What? You couldn't sit at the bar?" and walked away with our orders. We looked at each other and said "we're getting out of here." Never coming back here.

Not a very busy location with staff that's greatly attentive to detail in the table. Delicious enchiladas and tacos served in very generous portions. Save space for the dessert, the tres leches cake slice and the flan is worth it!

I went to Rosa's bar last night for having happy hours food. If you can't find any seat at front bar section, you can go down stair, there has another bar. Service is excellent, I like the house chips with homemade guacamole and salsa sauce, very fresh! You can choose not spicy or how spicy you like. Sangria is okay but Margarita, if it used Margarita salt instead of regular salt would be better.

How can you sell this food in NYC??! Margaritas are great. Guacamole is fresh but the consistency of the food is not there. What makes it worse is the dried rice and canned beans they serve overheated from the day before (trust me, I know the difference between fresh and canned reheated) the icing on the cake is the vinegar they use on the sauce to mask the old going bad flavor food picks up when is a few days old. Never going back.

Bartender Billy downstairs is extremely attentive and makes a great margarita! Definitely will visit this restaurant again soon, solely due to his excellence service!!

I have been to Rosa Mexicana by Lincoln Center and that is what made me love the restaurant.However, the food & service from the Tribeca location doesnt match up to the one by Lincoln Center. For 154 dollar bill and rude staff defintely will not be comming back EVER to this location! The waitor was extremely rude and unprofessional & became arguementative because he knew he was wrong. If you love rude staff and unprofessionalism at a pricey restaurant please go to the tribeca location. If you dont, I'd suggest staying away from this location and go to the one by Lincoln Center.

Pretty Mexican food. I came here with friends to have drinks and food. We got the Tres Enchiladas and Queo dip. Both were really tasty and flavorful. My friends ordered one of their special cocktails, sweet and refreshing.

We were a party if 3 for my friend's bday. Came in and they welcomed us very well. The services was good but the food not so much. The guacamole had no taste, guess the produce was not fresh and the avocado not ripe enough. I ordered 3 tacos (fish chicken and meet ) and the all tasted the same. My friends got quesadillas and the shrimp dish and that too wasn't good. Need improvement
