Sent me a damaged sofa 4 times and only offered me $89 and I spent over $5k with this store this year. Every order we have received this year has been defected or damaged. Very disappointed with how this store and customer service handled the entire matter. They told me $89 was the most they could do for a reoccurring customer but this is the last time I give RTG a dime! Be wise and take your money elsewhere. It’s one thing to to not deliver on quality but it makes matters worse when you don’t properly compensate your customers. They do not stand by their mission statement or their so called guaranteed quality. They sell refurbished furniture that doesn’t last. If you read countless reviews on RTG from several sources you will see how people rate their furniture and customer service. It’s all around disappointing. Still in shock at how they treated my family after all the money we have spent this year.
Will NEVER buy from Rooms to Go again!!!
If I could give zero stars I would
We went to the Newnan GA store on November 24th Black Friday to purchase a bedroom set for my daughter. She picked out her set and the very accommodating sales person took our money and placed the order. That is where the good part ends. We were told delivery couldn't be made until December 9th which is 15 days from date of purchase.
On December 9th we waited all day for the delivery, no prior phone calls with a time window. The delivery truck finally showed up close to 4pm. Three people were making the delivery they were the rudest people I ever met. They came into our home with mud all over their shoes getting mud on our light colored carpeting. Their pants were down around their thighs with their underwear showing, downright disgusting.
They proceeded to unpack the furniture in my daughter's bedroom getting Styrofoam packing material and cardboard pieces all over her bedroom and the long hallway leading to her bedroom. The person in-charge informed me the hardware for her bed was missing and I'd have to call the store to get hardware shipped and I would have to assemble her bed. They literally left my daughter's bedroom in total disarray with parts of the bed all over the room and packing material all over our home. They left the headboard up against the window and nearly broke a new double-pane window.
I called the store to get replacement hardware, was put on hold for nearly 1/2 hour then left a message. NO ONE called back until the next day. I was promised it would be sent via overnight service, but it took 3 days for the hardware to arrive. When I went to put the bed together, the hardware was incorrect. Again I called, was put on hold and eventually was asked to leave a message. Someone called back, I requested the correct hardware, was promised overnight shipment have yet to receive the hardware.
It is now December 19th, 26 days have passed since I paid for the furniture in full and my daughter is still sleeping on the floor.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE & DISGUSTING DELIVERY PEOPLE.
WILL NEVER BUY FROM ROOMS to GO AGAIN
Lovely!! Great selection and good prices on high quality furniture. I'm extremely happy with my selection, thanks to the very helpful and friendly sales professional who helped me every step of the way. Best place to buy new furniture, several choices in many colors and textures. Beautiful living room and bedroom sets that are museum like in aesthetic appearances. UPDATE: appearances are deceiving. ..BAD QUALITY MERCHANDISE, BAD REPLACEMENT MERCHANDISE, BAD ALL AROUND PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE PLEASE!!!
Friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable staff. We weren't sure that a certain piece of furniture would go with the one we were thinking about purchasing. They put the chair on a dolly and rolled it over from the opposite end of the store! Ask for Betty, she is friendly but not pushy.
Wayne was a great salesperson. Helped us immensely. Only thing we don't care for is they charge for shipping and don't have sales.
If I could go back in time, I would not have purchased my furniture from Rooms to Go. Bought a set of bond leather sofas ($2200 set) along with protection plan of 3 years. I didn’t mind spending this money with the intention that this would be an investment and enjoy my living room for years. 4 years later And the sofas are peeling. Not only is this embarrassing when I have company over but there goes over $2000 down the drain. If you’re thinking of new furniture, do yourself a favor and do not purchase at R2G.
Bought a power reclining sofa for my home theater about 6 months ago. The first one they sent out was broken upon delivery and they replaced. The second one the metal bar under the coach broke approx 6 months later. I called Rooms To Go and after they stated it was not a manufacturer defect and that we must have damaged it. Its at the bottom of a coach that never moves so not sure how we did it. It's also barely sat on except once/twice a week for movie night. Terrible treatment on a customer that has purchased multiple rooms from them over past several years. Never again. I've never been so upset having wasted that much money on furniture for 6 months. Buyer beware, save your money and go elsewhere.
Horrible! Bought our couch back in January. We were asked if we wanted a protection plan with it, no absolutely not because it's not worth $140. Well you will regret it down the road when there is a stain you can't get out on your couch. (What Lisa said to us) never mentioned it was only FOOD AND BEVERAGE! I can pay way less than that to have some food or wine taken out of a couch everyone knows that! Way cheaper than $140! We never received the paper that said it was only food and beverage probably because I was sitting there reading through everything so she didn't include it because I hate to get screwed over. Well here we are 8 months down the road I accidentally spilt wood stain (something worth a protection plan) on the side of the couch and I call to see if it couldnt be removed could they replace it and they said it only covered that. So I finally got on the phone with a manager to inform him I was not told it was only food and beverage and no where on the papers I have did it say that or that I SIGNED! So I told him since there is nothing they can do for me if I could get a refund of my money ($140) to pay someone else to try to remove it. And he said no nothing I can do since they denied you of your claim that I never made. All I asked the representative if wood stain would come out if not would it be replaced. And she said no I said I will contact rooms to go and she had put in a "claim" under my name and refused it. This was the managers excuse of why I couldn't get a refund of the $140. Never the less, they will false advertise you at this place any way they can. They are out to get your money AND DO NOT BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN IT COVERS NOTHING BUT FOOD AND BEVERAGE THAT CAN BE TAKEN OUT YOURSELF! Never will I buy from this rooms to go again. Horrible liars out for one thing only, BUSINESS. $2,400 on a couch with protection that is not protected the least they could have done was tried to get it out. I'll never come back again or refer anyone again to this place!
Betty Ledford was awesome. She was very patient, friendly and most informative. She knows the products. I purchased 4 bar stools from Betty and will probably be back to chose one of the sleepers we discussed. Great experience. I just read other reviews. I truly hope my experience with your delivery department is better
Hannah in kids room really knows her stuff. She made it easy for me to purchase my girls bunk bed. Hannah helped me every step of the way and made delivery and every step easy for me! I feel confident about my purchase!
Betty in furniture was also super awesome! She made picking out furniture for me and my fiancé a breeze. She set up delivery and gave us many options. She was informed about the furniture and made us feel very comfortable in our decision about our living room furniture.
Because of these two wonderful employees I will continue to purchase furniture from this location!

The sales person Stephanie was great, but the delivery people are not careful at all. Rooms to go needs feed back so they can do something about this. They delivered the wrong pieces to us, but they were still in the plastic when they were going out of our house back to rooms to go. They guys just practically threw them off our porch into the muddy yard. I just think that they need to know those pieces could have still been sold for the same price but due to their not caring attitudes they will now have to be discounted. This hurts the consumers prices because they have to make the $ up somewhere. Need to do an undercover boss on the delivery team. Just trying to help out with suggestions
I purchased a sofa, love seat, ottoman in July, 2016. When they were delivered you could see that they were very overstuffed. I purchased these because I am short and when I sat in them at the showroom my feet would touch the floor. After they were delivered I sat in them and my feet were at least 6 to 8 inches off the floor. I thought over time the overstuffed look would go away. In November they were a little less puffy on the love seat that we mostly sit on but my feet still couldn't touch the floor and now the material was all wrinkled. I called the store and was told that the furniture wouldn't be considered a manufacturers defect but they agreed to send out someone to look at them. After the service man came out the service department told me there wasn't anything that could be done with the furniture and the furniture in the store had been sat on many times and was "mashed down". I told her that the sample I sat on wasn't wrinkled. I said to her then that obviously what you see in the showroom isn't what you get delivered. She said again it wasn't a manufactures defect. This was repeated by me and her several times. What I want everyone to know is that WHAT YOU BUY IN THE SHOWROOM ISN'T WHAT MAY BE DELIVERED AND THEY WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.
