I recently bought the Xj 5" trailblazer lift after reading how great the stuff they sell is,compared to other company's. After I bought the lift I was told the leaf springs would be on back order for a month and they came in way before that. Which was a plus. But after receiving all of my parts. I noticed the boxes that everything came in looked like they came out of a junk drawer at someone's house. Everything had already been opened and even a couple of the metal pieces already had rust on them. When I went to put the lift on my jeep I noticed that the instructions were terrible and didn't explain anything, and they even sent me the wrong trac bar. After paying 1000.00 dollars for "The highest quality lift" I expected so much more. Please be aware of what your buying and read the reviews. This company is extremely difficult to get ahold of, and being that I live in Texas it is even more of a headache.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I waited 25 days for a suspension lift kit for my GX470 and ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company. They couldn't even be bothered to respond to live chat inquiries or emails pertaining to the status or cancellation of my order. Order placed on 10/18/17, shipping information never received, item never received. Buyer beware.

After a brief consultation, I ordered an OME complete Lift kit for my CJ7 from these guys. I love a small family company to do business with, you don't get lost in the shuffle. And these guys have done a lot of research when it comes to what actually works like its supposed to. I have bought a lot of parts for my CJ that appear to be good parts until they are put to use. I have been disappointed more than once by overseas parts that don't fit or are of such poor quality I don't even want to install them. When my kit arrived, I was really taken back by the great quality parts that showed up in just a few days. I do some fabrication and can really appreciate really cool stuff made in a shop. They cover all the bases when it comes to quality, innovation and craftsmanship! I would highly recommend Rocky Road Outfitters for your off road needs, I am sure you won't be disappointed. After exhaustive research on the interwebs for a "rock slider" option I chose RRO. Quality looks second to none, and had exactly what I was looking for at better pricing than many other options.
I placed the order online, and just received it today! Very excited. I did write them a few emails touching base on build/delivery time, and they were quick to respond and accommodated my needs as best they could. A happy new customer. Thanks RRO. This review is a little late. Bought my kit a couple months ago for my Grand Cherokee. Asked about shipping time. They said some parts are special order, some on the shelf. Made sense. Order my lift and had it in a week.
Have to say their email support is tops. Never got answers from anyone else, but Rocky answered them all. Problem now is, I want to keep buying the stuff they make. Not enough money!!!

Lift kit for my Wrangler. Everyone on my Jeep board said these guys were great. This stuff is bombproof! Good welds, good design, installed easy. I called a ton and they always had good answers. I plan on buying alot more from these guys.

Was randomly scrolling websites looking for a gas tank shield for my Grand Cherokee. Randomly decided I liked the Skid Row from Rocky Road Outfitters so I ordered it. Decided to actually look into Rocky Road a day later and got hesitant after seeing so many negative reviews but I decided to give them a chance anyway seeing as I payed with Paypal. My order never went into shipped status but I received my shield 4 business days later in perfect condition. Not sure what all the negative stuff is about or if they've just cleaned up their act but I would gladly order from them again.

Recently had an experience where I spoke with one person at RRO about my order. I was having to cancel due to personal circumstances. Basically, I needed to postpone the expense until circumstances improved. The person that I spoke with was very understanding, professional, compassionate, and accommodating. I did not get even a hint of negativity. They very well could have charged a fee for the work that had been done toward filling my order. Or they could have went ahead and shipped the order and charged me. I would not have been able to install the items for health reasons. I look forward to placing the order again soon. This person's handling of the situation has definitely earned my business. I suspect that some reviews are overly and potentially unfairly critical. Some people are spoiled by instant gratification. If I get a chance I will visit their shop in person. I look forward to shaking the person's hand.

Ordered a roof rack for my Jeep Grand Cherokee begining of april.. still have yet to receive the product.. and they haven't charged me yet.. may not sound like an issue but when I have to leave 800$ in my account so I don't overdraft when they decide to finally ship said product.. it's a pain in the ass.. super disappointed. Maybe I'll raise some stars when my product gets here..

Just got off the phone with them. I picked up a rig with their samurai link kit already installed on it. They were very helpful and provided me with details on what needs to be done on the kit to keep it going strong and gave me replacement part numbers if I ever ware them out. Thanks RRO!

These guys are the best! The quality of the product is better than any others I researched anywhere. Charlie was extra helpful and went the extra mile to get me my sliders. Thank you! I would definitely recommend Rocky Road Outfitters, they are the BEST!!!

I haven't put them in yet, going to do that as soon as I finish this review. But, the fact that the three pages of instructions are such a bad Xerox copy that I can't even read them is why I'm giving this review. They can't even take the time to copy the instructions correctly. They're just a couple of upper control arms, no problem except that the install baggie has 8 extra washers, four flat and four cupped. Without any information on what to do with them, I guess the arms will be going in without the extra washers, where ever they're supposed to be. Went to their website and absolutely no links or pages for the installation of these control arms. Suggestion to RRO: Everyone on the planet who sells stuff, has a 'SUPPORT PAGE"! I only bought these because they were black and didn't want red upper control arms from the competition. Should have waited to get a set of the competition's and had them custom built black. To be honest, I didn't even look at their reviews before I bought them, so serves me right. Seems that other customers have had sub-optimal experiences with these guys also. Oh, well, live and learn I guess.
