Great camp grounds in the George Washington and Jefferson National forrest. Went for a church retreat, loved it. Fantastic star gazing at night.

I hadn't been down here to the camp since 2012 and never for a Young Life group but with another group who had rented the facility back when they were in the remodel stages of the camp. When I was asked if I could drive a group of Young Lifers down here I jumped at the opportunity as I was curious to see what the place looks like after being away for so long. I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of the once rough areas of the camp being fine tuned to a well kept facility that glorifies Gods creation and the beauty of it even though things are beautiful from creation without mans involvement sometimes for our pleasure they need to be pruned to bring about their true beauty. The camp does offer a lot of places to be able to go and get alone with God without the distractions of outer influences as well as a good place to catch up with friends you haven't seen for a long time or to make some new ones that could last you a lifetime.
