Great bridge. Feels Japanese
There is actually a picnic area at the trail head. It's nice and clean place to hang out before and after the hike. It doesn't show on the google map that it is a picnic area, but we followed the local signs and had lunch there. Awesome place!
Nature always gets a five in my book! Just go!!
The Sandstone has been carved out of water it's one of the few arches that go over water to be a natural bridge and Red River Gorge the trail is moderate and very beautiful especially in the spring
This place is beautiful. Its about 3/4 of a mile hike to get there but we'll worth it.
It's a beautiful 1.5 mile hike. This trail is rough paved part of the way but it is mostly dirt. The trail does have a slightly steep decent down to the river and back out of the valley. Once at the river there is a beautiful waterfall, if you go around the bend in the trail there is a way down to the river and to the water fall, also a little further up the trail is a natural rock bridge.
Short trail with plenty to see without too much climbing. Good hike for younger kids.
my favorite Rec Area in RRG
