I would give more stars if the water is not shutting off every once in a while (or should I say almost “EVERYDAY”), and the washer and dryers are frequently OUT OF ORDER (no one gives a damn about them), and people are training their dogs in the hallway. It was quiet and nice during the first time of me staying here. Now it’s a DISASTER, neighbors are having parties at midnight, and the landlord is keep asking people to call the police (BREAK NEWS: IT IS LANDLORD’S RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF THE NOICE ISSUES!!! STOP RELYING ON THE COPS FOR EVERYTHING!!!). I don’t know what else to say about this place.

Don't ever choose to live here if you want to take shower whenever you can because there's going to be an "water leak" everyday and there is a 80% chance you might got stuck in the shower for an entire day because they had to turn it off to fix it!!!!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have never been so angry with a whole institution in my entire life. It first started before my roommates and I even moved in. We had signed the year before and were all set. Then we get a call over the summer saying they had over signed the 4 bed 2 bath apartments by TEN LEASES. HOW does that happen. They basically left 40 people stranded and because of one tiny clause stating they "can relocate residents during the event of an emergency as defined by us," we could take no legal action. We had SIGNED a lease and paid the security deposit MONTHS before this. They then called saying they found two 2 bed 1 baths for us to split up in, and tried to compensate by giving us free parking (2 of us didn't even have cars to bring here so this was useless) and waiving a one-time resident life fee, which we did appreciate. However, instead of paying the agreed upon rent per person, we were forced to increase our per-person rent by OVER $150 A MONTH. Which yet again was technically legal because the overall rent stayed the same, just split among a smaller number of people. We tried to find another place to live but with it being a MONTH before classes started, every place that didn't require a car, wasn't way out of budget and could fit the four of us was taken, so we were forced to accept the offer. They then called one of us and said they "found" a 4 bed 2 bath and asked if we wanted it (p.s. how do you "find" an apartment). We said yes because the rent was cheaper and we could all live together again, because each resident had already decided what they would bring and one apartment of the two 2 beds would be left without living room furniture. We got the apartment and they tried to up the cost of rent more than what was originally signed for. We refused+threatened legal action and asked to speak to their lawyers, who they conveniently forgot to call us back with. They took away everything previously waived, again not getting back to us with lawyers. We called every week, two to three times a week, for a MONTH trying to get everything figured out, but every time they answered they would say they need to get back to us with their manager. Somehow the manager was NEVER in even though we always called during work hours. The staff was incredibly rude as well. They would answer knowing who we were before we even said "hi," and condescendingly would call us by our first names saying "it's you again." They never called us back with solid answers. Then we move in. Two of us moved in the first day of our lease and inspected everything. We found mold (which 3/4 of us are severely allergic to and one had already been forced to move a year before because their throat closed up while they slept because of the mold), bugs in the kitchen, our showers didn't work properly, the screen door to the balcony was broken, the shower head in one of the bathrooms wasn't even on the wall and would shake if you even looked at it, the toilets kept running after you would flush and make so much noise it was unreal and the carpet wasn't even installed properly before we moved in!! This carpet has to be at least 25 years old and it wasn't even the right length to cover the floor, by several inches. They came and "stretched" it to meet the kitchen tile, but apparently didn't make sure the ends were kept down ANYWHERE. So where the carpet meets the walls and kitchen tile can be lifted up with ONE FINGER. Every time we put in a maintenance request it would take at least a week for them to get to it, IF they ever did. We put several in that went completely ignored and were changed from "In Progress" to "Completed" even though they did nothing and the problem was STILL there. As if that wasn't enough, we found ANTS were living UNDER the carpet ALL OVER our apartment. We are all very clean people and don't leave food out ever, how were there ants?! Word of advice, rent literally anywhere else. Living in a dorm is better than living here. Living in a cardboard box would be better than living here. Save yourself the pain and avoid this place.

Riverpark is a great place that's close to campus. A great way to feel at home while you acquire your education away from home.

River park is a nice place to live. Very little issues arise, and its the perfect location. I lived here for a year and loved it.

Riverpark is pretty nice! I'm in the main building (36) . The ground floor has the main office, so it’s pretty easy to just go down the elevator and talk to them. The ground floor also has a sitting area and some computers to use as well as a printer. If you plan to use the printer, make sure to bring your own paper!

The coffee machine on the ground floor is free to use. Its great for starting the day. There is also a gym that you can use anytime. The pool is there too. It is really close to the university. less than a 10 min walk. even less if you bike. definitely would recommend.

Rude and dishonest management. Stay away if your trying to sub-lease month to month from a current tenant. Truly one of the worst experience I have had dealing with a management company. They will do a hard hit on your credit report even if your are sub-leasing from current tenant. They will tell you that all payments for rent are between you and the tenant your are sub-leasing from. Then later ask for your income statements and W-2's from last year. They will do a full credit and background check like you are going to lease for full term. They also tell you that they don't sub-lease. So another words they try to lock you into a year lease even though you are sub-leasing from the current tenant.

Leasing with River Park was one of the best housing experiences I've experienced. I loved being able to stop into the resident life center every day for a fresh cup of coffee, and the ability to stop into the fitness center any time I wanted because it's open 24 hours! During the summer I'd get my friends together and we'd take advantage of the free grills and the resort-like pool they have on property. Not only are the amenities awesome, but the staff is pretty great too! From a friendly smile at the front desk, to catching up with them when I see them on property, the staff is always there for us residents, and throw some awesome events for our community such as Grocery Bingo and Taco Tuesday FREE tacos!
