  We had to evacuate for the hurricane. This was the hotel we were fortunate enough to to stay at. Small hotel on the river. Great to come to when weather is better. Clean, comfortable room with a nice sitting area with BBQ for your use. The owner was friendly and helpful especially since they ended up needing to be prepared for the hurricane also. The people in the area were extremely friendly and helpful. We will be planning a trip back.

  Nice marina. They have a lift to get your boat in the water, which is really nice. The store has a little of everything you might need. Bait seems fairly priced. And the patio/bar area overlooking the river is relaxing.

  We have stayed at River Haven each year during scalloping season for the last 3 years. We are very pleased with our stay each time, and always look forward to going back each year. The rooms have recently been renovated and is in the best location!

  Such a great marina with local help for an affordable price. Our boat was very suitable for scalloping! This was our first time to Steinhatchee, and we have lived in Gainesville for 5 years. All the ladies at the front desk were sweet, and told us exactly how to get out to the grass flats. What an awesome experience.

  Went there to go on a fishing charter with Big Bend Charters. They are awesome! Brian and Gina run a great charter. They know how to put you on a fish make sure you catch your limit. We'll worth the trip!
