  Came here after an encounter with a rare opportunity as a celebration. As fortuitous as it should be, my sons birthday coincided with the Blue Moon in Pisces. We had an incredible day together, which are becoming more common as his mother is allowing to see him more often. Johnathan requested Italian ice as the capstone for our day together and off we went. This Rita’s location had recently opened near where I am currently living, and after a negative experience of disallowing astral projection at another unnamed Italian Ice Peddler, we came here. I ordered a Gelati with Chocolate ice and Vanilla Gelato, and Johnathan ordered a Mango Italian ice in the size of Medium. As we sat on the pictured bench and enjoyed this special moment together, Johnathan told me about his dreams and visions of the future. I love my son and I am thankful to Rita’s for being a sweet ending to our day together.

  Wow. We were excited when we saw Rita’s opening up nearby but have not had the chance to try it until this evening. The ice and custard was all amazing and the staff was friendly and they definitely provided a great experience. Can’t wait to go back again.

  Great spot for custard and ice-based sweets. Tried the chocolate custard and it was very smooth. Employees were super friendly and the place is really clean. Excellent variety of flavors and toppings.

  We were so excited to have Rita’s open so close to us. We’ve been twice since it opened and had a bad experience both times. Here’s my cup of frozen custard with one topping. Didn’t even get a half cup full of frozen custard. Between the custard and topping , just about fills the cup half way. Not worth the money. I’ll stick to jeramiahs or Dairy Queen.
  
  *Edited in response to owners response to my review - that’s a sorry excuse for being served an extremely small portion (especially for those prices) … like I said, I’ll stick to Dairy Queen or jeramiahs or even McDonalds where they actually fill the cup you paid good money for instead of filling it 1/3 full. Ridiculous … I’ll be sure to post the comparison photos between your stores portions compared to those other places mentioned….

  What a wonderful first visit for my hubby and I. The girls and owner were very friendly and knowledge. Service with a big smile.
  We will definitely be back for those delicious scrumptious treats.
