  This is not a good place to stay if you like peace and quiet or if you have children. The bar patrons are extremely vulgar and loud. There is live music at the bar every single day that does not end until well after 9 PM. All of the noise from the music and the bar can be heard in the rooms. We found bugs in our bed and all of the dishes were crusted with old food. Do not waste your money!

  Nice place to people watch and great view of the ocean. Good entertainment. The bartenders are a little air-headed and slow so you have to raise your voice to get a drink even when they are not busy. Aside from that, a cool place to chill for a moment. Drinks are good.

  My FAVORITE bar in Hollywood. This is where all of the locals go to have a good time. Very reasonably priced drinks, kind, thoughtful, and dedicated staff behind the bar, and every night I went while on vacation, there was a live solo acoustic act playing popular tunes that added to the ambiance. While sitting at the Tiki bar in the back, you can hear the ocean waves crashing on the beach and you can feel the breeze as it comes off of the Atlantic
  I gave this place a 5-star rating only because I didn't have the option to give it 10-stars!

  The Riptide is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone is very hospitable and friendly. The hotel is a little dated but, has amenities for extended stays. The tiki bar is right off the walkway hosting regulars and welcoming people right off the beach 🌴. It has wonderful views and is in a quiet neighborhood.

  My work partner and I came to Florida for Hurricane Irma storm damage repair work and Found this place by accident....doesnt look that great on the outside but the rooms are nice !! The Tiki Bar is very cool !! Staff is very friendly.
  Its 30 ft from the beach and there's lots to see down the boardwalk.
  There's no breakfast other then coffee in the office. They don't open til 8am by the way.
  
  But the rooms have full kitchens so go shopping for food, way cheaper. The bar is a bit over priced for well drinks, beer is decent tho. They do have food but only on the weekends, If you get a chance , the pizza is hand made thin crust and very good.
  Over all the place is great and can't wait to bring my wife dwn here !
  Definitely coming back !

  Cozy little place. The only negative review is how small the bathrooms are. But for the price it's not a bad place. Good location, and the tiki bar is right outside my room.

  Cozy. Tiki bar downstairs. Free bike rides down the boardwalk to Dania beach pier. A beautiful place to wake up to in the morning. Sunrise out your front door.

  We had a wonderful stay at the Riptide and definitely will return. We especially liked that there were beach chairs to use. And the kitchen was really useful as well. Can't beat the view! We enjoyed the live music at the tiki bar too!

  First Trip to Florida, What a relaxing stay! Value Excellent!! Walked both ways and drove area, and this is THE MOST reasonably priced place with live music for lunch through after dinner drinks, yet NOT loud or noisy. Just relaxed. Fixed Lunch and Breakfast in room, so no time or money wasted at over priced restaurants. Yet we go the same beach, walks and shopping as Marriott and Margaritaville customers!

  i really recommend Riptide Hotel for anyone who want to enjoy Hollywood boardwalk. Our room was very nice with lots of space. The service was very good. perfect for parking. even do the weather was not beach perfect we had a great time enjoying the boardwalk and restaurants.
