we had an appointment and waited one hour just for nurse to come in then their cat Claus attacked my cat who is sick and only 2 months old. then the vet rolled her eyes after asking us of we were gonna keep our cat very unprofessional and rude. he only has a respiratory infection. we needed abotic not waiting two hours for a vet only question are we keeping our cat never going again

Wonderful place. Our dog had an emergency and everyone was wonderful, they got him in right away and took care of him, he was fixed up in no time.. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and definitely give them five stars.

Dr. Yoder and her staff were absolutely wonderful and caring with our kitty, Abby, when she was put to sleep this week. Decisions like putting a beloved animal to sleep are difficult, no matter the circumstances.Ridge Veterinary Hospital was empathetic and gentle about it, both with Abby and with us. For this, we are thankful.
We also had our 11 month old male cat neutered there, just two days prior to Abby's passing. It was a problem-free procedure and he's healing just fine as he was seen by them again today, for an unrelated reaction to something he may have gotten into. The vet that was there in place of Dr. Yoder was a kind gentleman that was helpful and informative when it comes to easing my concerns and making our kitty feel better. Marie P. is a good listener and cares about animals and making sure we have access to someone to talk to when we panic about our pets.

Please, Please, Please never take your dog to this place. They do not care about ethics, it is the almighty dollar!!! Our lab needed a surgery to treat a prolapsed cervix, but instead of giving her the correct surgery that included a spay when we brought her in, they just pushed everything back in and stitched her up. They charged us 685.00 for this and she stayed their over the weekend, because they felt she needed to. Come Monday they call me and say she needs emergency surgery to fix the problem and spay her, for which we would be charged another 1650.00 or more. They would not work with us on a payment plan we had to have the money or she would not be taken care of, there were no other options!!! We quickly called another vet to look at our options, Lake Wales Veterinary Hospital was willing to take her and do the correct surgery for $600 and they were willing to help us with a payment plan!!! (Nice to know there are some decent people in this world) The new vet was really confused as to why Ridge did not do the spay surgery in the first place since that is what should be done in this case. Ridge Veterinary Hospital does not care about you or your dog, they care about the almighty dollar!! They are heartless and incompetent. Do not waste your time or your hard earned money there, Please take your dog to Lake Wales Veterinary Hospital or anywhere else!!!!
