Made it a point to stop and view these on my trip through VT. A small like hike on a trail to see them and it was beautiful.
Not sure what to think looks better online..
Moving here from out of town I was expecting a set of huge Whale Tails. They are not as grand as I expected and they are also on the side of a freeway (they don't show you that in picture online) but was I totally disappointed No! I love that it is a short stroll up to them. The area is dog friendly! There never seems to be an overwhelming amount of people there. I would caution you if it has been raining because you do walk through a field and it get muddy. But still if you have never been I would suggest you go.
Spectacular find on a Vermont highway.
Brought us right back to Cape Cod.
Easy, quick and fun 'hike' with small children
Great view. Iconic Whale Tails. Thank you property owners for allowing people and dog's the use.
A great place to exercise or have quiet time with your dogs freely. I give it 5 stars despite the fact that some dog owners refuse to take a dog bag with them to the nearest trash can even if it means taking it home with them. Someone has donated this property out of the goodness of their heart. Be a responsible dog owner and leave the trail free of filled bags.
