Huge ski area. many different level trails for everyone. View from the k1 peak is amazing. Definitely one of the best options on the east coast. Drive is little long from NYC but overall it's worth going. I hope they increase the closing time to 5 in spring as it does not get dark by 4 or even 5.

By far the best ski area in the Northeast. Huge selection of trails. Many areas with well maintained tree skiing. I would not often say while in the NE that you can find a powder stash 24 hours after snow stops but here is one place you can. My favorite is the glades just off of frolic!

Beast of the east, this place is huge. Great trails for the seasoned skier or rider but also very family friendly. They have a famous terrain park called “the stash” which is sponsored by Burton and uses organic materials. Parking is easy and the food is great but very expensive. This is a world class ski resort, coming form someone who has been all over the US and British Columbia.

Runs here are just "OK." Service is sort of garbage. Ski safety is definitely not a visible priority.
Well maintained trails were just not a solid expectations. Clearly after a frozen night it was more important to these folks to keep trails open and make some $$ than keeping their patrons safe and equipment intact.
From our first run there were stones, rocks, sticks and gravel making their way through the snow, and even at the top of the lift there was water that had clearly frozen overnight to a massive sheet of ice making it nearly impossible to even walk safely across the top landing, not to mention ski/board.
Not a place I'd leave my kids unsupervised. I'd also make sure you read the daily reviews to make sure the runs are safe and worth the $$, because it doesn't seem like these folks will close down when appropriate.

Great place to snowboard! Slopes are beautiful and well groomed for the most part. Many times when I fell, someone would ask if I was okay. I remember one time, when it was flat on a slope and I got stuck, someone even offered a ski pole to pull me. Great atmosphere for all and incredible views all around! Customer service was amazing too! Extremely friendly workers that are always willing to make conversation! Also good for all levels!

First, disclosure. I am a member of the Snow Sports School at Killington. I have taught and skied many places. Killington is unique. The combination of varied, challenging terrain coupled with the famous Killington access road nightlife is nearly impossible to duplicate. Great restaurants, incredible local musicians, and snow making that is second to none.

Early autumn offers the best timing for hiking up the multiple (free) trails that they keep in the resort. The hike alongside the gondolas is the most difficult on site but offers amazing views on the way up. On clear days you can see quite a distance in any direction at the summit. Definitely recommend enjoying a gondola ride back down. Personnel themselves were very helpful.

Was here for the weekend and everyday it snowed. It was fantastic trails and overall good variety of green & blues. When it gets busy they def. have staff there to assist and keep things moving. Was here for Feb 3rd-5th.

Had an awesome time here over the weekend. 1' of fresh snow in April. Can't get better than that. Then moderately spring like conditions the very next day. The Only thing I will complain about are the given ratings of the trails. So many of the blue trails were at such a slight grade, I don't know how they are considered a blue and not a green traverse. I had to clip out and skate a number of times On a blue.
Otherwise, it's a pretty awesome resort. We had a particularly awesome time in the trees. We still found fresh fluffy snow on Sunday with temps at the base creeping into the 40's.

I was really surprised how well run this place was from start to finish. Especially on Presidents Day weekend. All staff on the mountain help struggling skiers or snowboarder's. There was a good mix of different level trails with 3 different start points for lifts for optional mountain sides.

Didn't eat here but they had plenty of options. The bar at the 1st lodge had a band and great crowd after the slopes closed for drinks and relaxing. Family friendly as well.

The views were incredible! Lots of great runs, wish I could have skied during the night too! Definitely would pay to stay longer.

Good ski runs for all skill levels, the powder was great, tree runs were scary, but the woods were nice to stop and rest in, safe from the wind, nice and quiet. Will definitely be coming back to get a condo or something

Love this Mountain! Trails are well maintained and they have a nice variety of blue, green and black trails. During peak times they have employees stationed at the top of lifts helping skiers/boarders find open trails. One day we were directed to a trail that had a layer of fresh snow and no one on it!

They do a good job of moving the lines at the lifts, even during the peak holiday season. They have a good variety of food options but as with any other mountain resort prices are high.

This is the only mountain in the area where I have found employees stationed in the parking lots to help direct people. This was an especially nice touch on an extra cold day when an employee walked up to our group to inform us that the top was -1 and we should be make sure to bundle up.
