Enjoyed feeding the horses and donkeys. I applaud this facility for giving these horses a place to stay in their final years. Very well organized and a very helpful and friendly staff. A must do in Alachua when visiting or passing through in the area. 5 Stars!

I've been here a few times with my family, and it's always a relaxing day. The grounds are really nice and well kept, and it's a nice way to get exercise. I like the signs by each area that give information about the horses and how they came to the farm.

Beautiful place. Horse's were well cared for, friendly staff with carrots for sale if you didn't bring any for the horses and afew snacks for you too. Glad to see these beautiful animals have a special place now after being abused or being working animals for many years.

My friend Stan from JAX Beach and I came away changed forever, especially after hearing the heart-warming story from the founder herself. What a labor of LOVE and devotion. I KNEW in my heart there was a reason to return to Gainesville after an absence of 13 years. They need volunteers so badly. This is the beginning of the next chapter of my life.🐎🌈🐴💞

They have maintained it very well. Some of the horses were abused in the past and are still scared of humans, RHH is taking good care of them. Entrance fees is feeding carrots to horses. They love it.

Mom Nephew and I visited Saturday w/ 10lb carrots, 2 bags of apples, 6 bananas and came away empty handed. This is a great way for the public to see the wonderful work being done here. I'm sorry I'm too far away to volunteer. I will def be back. (sorry for the duplicate pix - google review is not the most user friendly when it comes to posting pix)

What a great place to meet and greet with horses who need love. It is a bit of hike if you want to see all of them in one day so bring a lunch and lots of water to drink. There are shady places to rest and still be able to watch the horses. Also, I suggest bringing more than 5lb bag of carrots if you have a soft spot for every horse you see like I do. 😆
