Food is amazing! The environment is very relaxing and the restaurant is spotless. The one things I value the most in a restaurant is the cleanliness.

Great breakfast with some interesting choices. We had jalapeno cornbread french toast (not spicy, my eight month old grandson enjoyed) and eggs Benedict/Florentine with their version of grits

Delicious spot for breakfast. The staff is always super friendly. However, not a place for a quick bite - food can take a little while to be prepared.

Lovely decor, great coffee and grest pancakes. My mom loved her rooster burrito. Careful with parking though, you can only park in the left side of the parking lot. Really pretty mountain view, though!!

There aren't a lot of places to get breakfast in Brattleboro but this is a real nice choice. The atmosphere is super laid-back. The wait staff are always really attentive and friendly. There's a pretty good selection of food and drinks available. There's several options where you can build your own breakfast. All in all a nice place to spend the morning

Second bad experience and will be the last. To say the least both times I've had terrible service, over cooked food and horrible parking.
I enjoy small restaurants and avoiding chains but after this experience I will happily go to a chain knowing if I complain about food quality it will be comped or corrected.

Clean, friendly, yummy! Popped in for coffee and a snack, nice looking place. We chose this cafe because the owner seems to genuinely care, responding to reviews and trying to make things right. We will visit the rooster every time we are in town!

The food here is excellent, and while it is a bit on the expensive side for breakfast, I would argue that it is an excellent value; you get what you pay for here. The service is similarly top-notch. Staff are friendly, helpful, and do everything they can to make sure the customer has a pleasant experience. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars is two small things - specifically, parking and wait times. Due to the popularity with in-the-know locals, it can be difficult to find a spot in the small lot, and for the same reason, wait times for food may be longer than some customers like. That said, if you are willing to overlook these two small issues, the Rooster remains a great choice if you want a clean, cheerful environment with a delicious meal at a reasonable price.

Great diner food and a good atmosphere inside too. It's nice and bright and cozy inside. Would give 5 stars, but they charge extra for real maple syrup, which really annoys me. We're in Vermont!
