Love the Reid Park Zoo!!! I grew up with it and I still love it now as an adult and parent. I LOVE how small and intimate it is , it’s clean and beautiful. Parking is great too!
I’ve lived in big cities , with big “fancy” zoos and they are ALWAYS slammed busy, loud , parking a nightmare, etc etc.
These are NOT traits I consider enjoyable! I pray the Reid Park Zoo stays as lovely as it’s always been!

The zoo is great! My 2 and 5 year old love going. The gibbons are entertaining. My son loves how close he is to the tigers and lions. My only complaint is putting the carousel so close to the entrance/exit I don't enjoy that discussion with my kids every trip. The family membership is worth the price.

I have been going to this zoo since my childhood, I love it. There habitats now at so impressive, and so much better for the animals, and besides animals, there is a lot for little ones to do. It just keeps getting better

A great place to take children of all ages. My 3 year old grandson, loves it, his favorite is the giraffes, otters, peacocks, and the small frogs. He loves to play the drums. He also likes the frog that sprays water, and the play area.

I always enjoy going to the zoo. The animals are great. The information given about the animals is very informative and interesting. The zoo grounds are beautiful with plenty of shade and benches to sit on. Everyone around us really seemed to enjoy the the zoo. It's as if it brings out the best of people. We also enjoyed delicious cheese frys, nachos and popcorn. I will continue to go to the zoo with my family.

I remember going to Reid Park Zoo as a child. When i recently moved back i visited the zoo and i I recall this zoo being way bigger! The baby elephant is so sweet and you still can feed the Giraffes. The Bird and lizard exhibit is interesting.

Very well maintained property. Unlike some zoos we have been to in the past years. Was just right size for short day at the zoo in the Tuscon heat. Went early enough that animals were out. Loved it and will recommend to everyone.

Nice Zoo. I loved visiting here. I have been to a very large zoo before and didn't see an ant-eater. I was so intrigued by an ant eater that they have. I don't know why, but make sure you see him. lol. Going to this zoo is a nice way to spend a few hours.

This is probably my favorite zoo in the whole world. They have a lot of space in each exhibit for each animal. The staff are very friendly. I think that the animals are really happy, too. At least compared to other zoos. I love it here, and visit each time I'm in Tucson.

A far as zoos go, this is a small one. Through the years I have watched them expand and grow as the collection within its walls do the same. There is plenty to do, learn and see so don't be fooled by the size. I would like to see changes as I am comparing this zoo to others I have seen, but I am sure budgeting and space prevent these changes from happening. The animals appear to be well cared for.

Small zoo with unfortunately small enclosures for the animals. I try to go earlier, when it's not ridiculously hot, and the animals are frequently M.I.A. Luckily, when you do see them, you often get to see them up close, which is really cool.

There's enough to keep you occupied for an hour or two, but it's not likely an all day trip. If you're in Tucson, it's a nice attraction, but I don't know if it's worth a special trip by itself.

This is a small zoo and very compact. We love it though as our girls are small and the zoo is perfect for them. You can see everything in 2 to 3 hours then run and play at the huge park right next door. The elephant exhibit is the best!

Several of the exibits were empty. It has the feeling of a place that is struggling to stay open but not trying very hard to improve. I would go again but it was not impressed. Price is to high for the experience. The staff was nice though. Plenty of parking. Not overly crowded. Good place for kids.

“Something for Everyone”
We recently visited Reid Park for a blues festival with our small grandchildren. It was lovely setting, nice grassy areas, large trees with lots of shade and cabana areas with bbq grills for groups. A playground area was near the concert area so the children could play while we enjoyed the music. There's a large pond with ducks, a fountain.

The Reid Park zoo is the best. It is a smaller zoo but they carry such a great variety of creatures. They are always trying to educate children by providing so many different programs to help them understand and learn. It's always seems very well kept and cleaned regularly. You can tell the animals are happy and taken care of.
