Terrible experience. Checked in December 23 for a week with family. Place is old and worn—I get that for the low price. But TWO beds have completely broken box springs. Like boards sticking up into your back. The front desk was completely uncaring. “Sorry, no management is available till after Christmas.” Insisted till I reached the property management firm, but they’re unresponsive, too. So beware—you might get a decent unit and you might get a dump. Regal Palms management won’t care.
The resort is very close to the Disney parks and there is a Publix right next door which makes grocery shopping very convenient. We had breakfast at the house and packed snacks for our trips to the theme park, and it was nice to have all the amenities of home. The price was incredible and it was nice to be lounge by the pool when we weren't out. It is a great deal for the price.
Unit it nice. Location isn't great. Not a lot around for when weather is cold. Large 3 bedroom unit with 3 bathrooms. It should be stocked with more basic things like dish soap and salt and pepper. Overall nice.
We had a great stay at the resort. The house was clean, well equipped and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We love the resort - so relaxing after a day at Disney and staff were very friendly! When booking, make sure that you book direct from an owner as you then know exactly which house you will be staying in.
This resort is the best kept secret for families that want to relax and have fun. Only 8 miles from Disney with it's own water park. Fully equipped townhomes with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Walking distance to all stores.
Wish I could give it zero stars. Or better yet negative stars.
The unit was very dirty, ice maker was broken, broken shades, electric wall plates and the tile floors and carpets were disgusting.
The club house and facilities are rundown. They charge a hefty daily resort fee and most things are closed. Restaurant closed, pool bar, closed, arcade, most games don't work and take your tokens. There doesn't appear to be near enough employees. The complex entry gate by the club house works 20% of the time.
Front desk staff are useless. Any problem that arised and needed to be addressed was met by "I'm sorry there is nothing we can do, we are in between management companies". And its the off season. Really? Off season in Orlando? Looks like the new management doesn't have a clue either.
Save your time, money and frustrations and go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
Amazing place!! Renting directly from an owner was the best decision we ever made. Pool was crystal clear, house was updated, clean, and fully stocked. Staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful whenever I had a question. Overheard that the resort is under new management. Could explain all the old, outdated reviews. Will definitely be back!
What a great place! The homes are very big. We have a lagre family. Made it so easy to all stay together. Pool is beautiful! The aracade was great for my girls. They can't wait to go back. Best of all, so much cheaper than staying on Disney Property! Only a few minutes drive as well.
*TRAVELERS BEWARE* Not too happy. Planned a special weekend with my dad and family and we check in to see random resort fee charges and cleaning fees. Which to me was fine at the time because I rather not clean anyways but to come into the town home and there's ants all over the dishes and sink, There was condom wrappers in one of the spare bedrooms one of my children found (Disgusting!), the fridge is outdated, door won't even close, and there's not enough towels or even so much as dish soap there to clean the by the way very little amount of dishes to use to begin. I try to get over that and I go to cook and see the pans are Filthy. If this is a "resort" and you're charging fees for cleaning and resort fees there should be some amenities like travel soaps or shampoos Something AT LEAST a tiny bottle of dish soap to measure against overall overhead costs yet this resort is beyond cheap and asking for a luxury dollar. Be fair to clients that all i ask. I just checked in last night and this place is a disaster. I hope they can remedy this since I'm only here for 2 nights but paying over 100 dollars in cleaning and resort fees i expect this place to be up to par for my vacations at the minimum. They told me they would call me later still no phone call back. Customer service is completely nonexistent.
The townhouse at 2735 was nice, beds were fine, pool area was great. The problem was the kitchen had sugar ants, there were two dead roaches in the downstairs bedroom, the Internet did not work for the first two days we were there, the hairdryer did not work in the master bath, we paid for a premium townhome so that we could get a TV in all the bedrooms but one did not have it and the place could have been a lot cleaner than it was. My biggest complaint is that we tried to call the management company three times with one of the messages stating we really need to hear from someone asap and we never received a return call. I can't imagine what we would have done had there been an emergency
Horrible condo. Dirty, 1 bath tub drained. 3 didn't work. COCKROACHES in the light fixtures. No toilet paper when we arrived. Dirty towels. It was as if someone threw a frat party the day before we got there and never cleaned. DO NOT WASTE YOUR VACATION HERE!
Unit 737 is very dirty and in poor repair. The front door does not seal when closed, the carpet is foul, the tile floors are sticky and the grout is black when it should be white, there is what looks like food and juice remnants on the walls, there was a drawer missing from the upstairs bedroom, an outlet face plate was missing in the same room, the right rear burner on the stove was not functional, the bed linen was not clean, and the list goes on. The owner may not be aware of all of this, but right now this unit is being billed as "luxury" and is more akin to "flop house". Do yourself a favor: if you are considering this unit - don't; find a different unit that has good reviews specific to it.
We heard great things about this place especially for families. Can someone share any useful TIPS about how you all booked this we have not heard back from the owner with directly paying deposit in over a week and we need to make a re-plan, if we don't hear back soon with a definite approval from one of the owners. Your thoughtful reply is very essential for our families next trip in how to book here on line they have not taken our deposit yet . we did email 2x like the website instructed us. still not heard back yet.??
My parents had their week for their timeshare there and invited us to spend it with them and go to Disney. Its 20min from the parks and the condo was big, clean, bright and cozy. Fit my kids, my parents and I with plenty of room to spare. The pool was nice but could of been cleaner. It was very cloudy and had a lot of hair, leaves and bugs in it. The kids liked the slide and the lazy river though. It was crowded and finding a lounger to put your stuff on was an issue. The bathroom was a typical resort bathroom..not somewhere you want to walk around with no shoes on. The volleyball field was nice and they had a lot of activities for the kids to do at the pool area. All and all we had an awesome time there and would definitely go back.
