We usually watch the matinees so there so few people, it's a good experience. The theater is clean and spacious.
The theater was clean, and there really wasn’t a bad seat in the place. The IMAX 3D from the big IMAX projector was awesome, and seeing the movie, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” in that impressive theater was absolutely beautiful.
We decided to go see Dun Kirk on IMAX, and we paid close to $70 for tix & popcorn and soda. There was a putrid smell of mold within the IMAX theatre. You should not have to breathe in mold spores in any theatre, but especially one that is less than ten (10) years old that you just paid so much to enter!! What a crying shame. They need some remidiation.
Edited: the theater did the right thing and is giving everyone free passes or refunds, we didn't have to ask. But, the phone number above is still horrible.
Just try to get hold of somebody using their phone number. Idiotic voice system that randomly hangs up on you because somebody didn't set up extensions right. Why was I calling? 20 minutes after an iMax start time and the theater is still dark, no movie. I guess I have to give up my seat and walk downstairs to tell then they should start their movie???
I had purchased some time ago, a Regal Cinema movie ticket online through Triple A discounts.
Was interested in seeing the movie 'I'll Push You' on Nov 2.
Went online to see where it was playing close to me.
Saw it on Regal Mall of Georgia website.
Their website also showed 'No Passes' next to this movie.
I called Regal Mall of Georgia a few hours before movie started and explained to lady that I had a movie ticket purchased through Triple A for a discount, and had seen next to the movie I wanted to see on Regal Mall of Georgia website where it said 'No Passes'.
The lady then said, 'You should be okay, 'no passes' is for corporate tickets'.
Went to the theatre, had my budget all planned out, pre paid movie ticket, free small drink through Regal Rewards, only would have to pay for the popcorn.
Got to the ticket booth, showed the lady my pre paid ticket, she informs me it couldn't be used for that movie.
I explained to her that I had called earlier and told her what the lady had told me.
She said, 'She probably didn't know what movie it was for'.
BUT, I had mentioned to the lady on the phone, that it said 'No Passes' next to the movie I wanted to see; otherwise, she would have had no reason to say, 'no passes are referring to corporate tickets'.
Bottom line, she didn't say, ok, let me go check with my manager.
I could have pursued further, but had to do a U turn trying to get there due to a very slow train crossing tracks, and then GPS took me to a road that wasn't open to the public, ya dee ya dee ya dee, and I did not want to miss this movie since it was a one day, one time (literally one time of 7:30 PM) only movie.
I had to pay $14.84 for the movie, for which I wasn't planning to pay for movie at all that night.
Also, earlier in the day, I had found online for AMC, where I could have purchased that same movie ticket for $9 and something cents. But since I had my prepaid ticket, I decided to go to Regal Mall of Georgia.
But now since I can get discounts through Triple A for AMC as well as Regal, AND get free large popcorns to AMC through My Coke Rewards by entering codes from bottle caps, I may be taking a break from Regal.
I like Regal's Crown Club, most of their theatres are nice, popcorn is usually pretty good, but all of the employees have not been fully trained and / or not on the same page at Regal Mall of Georgia.
Concessions is understaffed (she was very nice and friendly) and the manager on duty could'nt be bothered to help. The theater has popcorn all over the floor. You can smell the men's room all the way in the theater (theater 15) and down the hall. Mmmm urin and popcorn not a good mix. Went to use the bathroom and when turning on the faucet it was broken and not even mounted to the sink. You guys get me coming for convenience but I'm slowly getting more comfortable paying AMC an extra $2 for cleanliness and decent service. Either drop the facade of being a first run theater and join the other $1 theaters that couldn't hack it or get your act together, put your venue back together and hire competent people.
My wife and I love coming here to watch movies. We live about 2 hours away in Northeast Georgia. Regal cinemas are always nice and neat. Make sure to use Regal's membership card to get credit for buying tickets and snacks.
Had to wait nearly 20 mins for a pretzel, then the guy that brought it out was rude. Then we get to the theater and there is trash still in it. When you have 5 or 6 people hanging out by the food with there phones out. Horrible service!!
For the 2nd time in less than two months, I went to an IMAX 3-D movie and the ticket agent in front of the elevators gave me the wrong 3D glasses for IMAX. Thirty minutes into Pirates of the Caribbean, I had to seek out the correct glasses for me and my friend. Do you know how much IMAX tickets cost? Why am I better at getting the correct 3D glasses than their own employees? Save yourself some time and go to Sugarloaf Mills.
I only go here to see all my blockbusters DC, Marvel & Star Wars!! The screen is so big you can literally pan across it as you watch the movie. CGI Looks incredible in IMAX!!
Really cool place I love how it's on the 3rd floor and I've always had a good experience here.
The only thing that could make it better would be if they would play anime movies but most theater's don't play those anyway.
