  Stayed this summer and not sure we will go back. The shower head was at a weird height and it got knocked off by accident. We were responsible in reporting it happened; but in our next credit card statement they charged us for it. It seems like they shopped for it at the most expensive place there was. At the time of reporting it they never said anything about charging us, which seems inappropriate and dishonest, since the shower head was not at a normal height. The owners seem burned out, rude and micro-managers (hot tub use). We have stay here before and thought we would try again..not again til Hfreezes.

  Hidden gem off the beaten path! Avoid the chains whenever possible. Debbie was very hospitable. The rooms are quaint, quiet and extremely clean. Chase Creek BBQ for an outstanding steak!

  I have had a good time at the lodge. Don't let the signs bother you. All they ask is that you respect their property.

  Had a great stay here. Very clean, quiet and serene. Right on Pier Marquette river with access to canoeing and fishing. Beautiful atmosphere. I had one small concern, and it was addressed immediately. Thank you for that. Also, how could I not support this business, they support my employer. "Nice Mustang!". I will be back to stay again.

  This place is awesome. Deb and Clint take great care of the property and their guest. The rooms are nice and CLEAN. The location is close to everything - Baldwin Canoe Rental, Na-tak-a, and the town of Baldwin.

  Recently stayed for second time here at the Red Moose Lodge and absolutely loved it! So close to the PM River and canoeing- perfect! Very accommodating and friendly hosts! Would recommend this lodge/motel to friends and family

  Best stay possible. Owners are super nice. Very clean and neat. Room is very comfortable and roomy. Great television service. The staff moose gags are great.

  Great location, comfortable lodging and friendly staff sum up this lodge. Very convenient when fishing the Pere Marquette River. Meticulously manicured property and superbly maintained rooms made for a wonderful experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone headed to the Baldwin, MI area and will likely be back in years to come

  Great location for fishing the pm. Clint, the owner is a guide and nice guy and can advise on fishing. Excellent hospitality. The hot tub is very clean and is exacly what you'll want after a day on the river. Cb
