The Manistee Downtown Development Authority held a community visioning session at the Ramsdell Theatre. It was a great event in an amazing setting. The staff was helpful and attentive. Keep up the great work!

The staff and volunteers are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and you cannot beat the beautiful setting for any type of function. The staff are accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure events go smoothly. They also coordinate well with vendors. This historic building has rooms for all occasions and crowd sizes. The Ramsdell always provides a memorable experience, and the prices are affordable.

I adore this place and may i say top floor balcony on the right side always catches my attention (wooden seats) area, intuitively but nothing evil or harmful here, just active at times.
But the live theater productions are amazing I go every chance i get when I'm passing thru LOVE IT

My son and his bride were married at the Ramsdell theatre this past weekend. When I heard they were using a theatre for the wedding, I wasn't too sure about it. But this was the perfect place.

the staff was just incredible. I had the honor of being the one to marry them. My first wedding ceremony. One of the staff members, Steve helped keep me on an even keel. He was attentive to everything going on and gave some great suggestions to help us through. He was the calm in the storm. He always had a smile, never a stressful situation with him.

We sat and had a few talks just about general things in life to keep me calm provide some guidance.

In one of our conversations Saturday evening, I found out his job was the maintenance guy and whatnot. I had no clue because what he did for us was so far beyond a Maintenence guy.

I would do another event there only if Steve was there to help me.

I recently had my wedding at the Ramsdell Theater and am so incredibly impressed with the staff that I was able to work with. Xavier was very helpful, informative, and always willing and able to help out however he could. He made the stress of having a venue so much easier. He was always just a email, text, or phone call away and answered any of my questions respectfully and professionally.

Steve Carey was the Ramsdells coordinator who completely blew me away. He was there all day for the rehearsal dinner, gave me advice when asked and helped the entire time. The day of the wedding he was one of the most important and needed people who exceeded my expectations. Anything that happened behind closed doors with vendors he handled without bothering me with questions. He guided the vendors and made sure they knew what to do and made judgement calls rather than stressing our families with questions. I cannot thank this man enough for how incredible he made my day. It would not have gone so well without him.

My wedding day was perfect and I can thank the Ramsdell staff for that. I was so impressed with the way they conducted themselves and handled my wedding day. I would reccomend this venue to anyone for their big day.

I recently attended a wedding at the Ramsdell and assisted the Bride and Groom with set-up. Xavier was extremely quick to respond to written and verbal requests. He was not only present during set-up, but introduced us to a volunteer in a new city-volunteer program, who also helped out throughout the day. On the day of the wedding, Steve was present for the entire event. He was very helpful, and remained in constant communication throughout the night. He even assisted with small wedding details that weren’t his responsibility. If you’re looking for the small town personality and charm, with the class and professionalism of a larger organization, in one of the most beautiful historic buildings in Norther Michigan- this is your place. Our experience was exceptional!

Very neat place to go see plays. Historical interior. Very actively puts plays and they have a good production for being local actors and actresses most of the time.
One of a kind feel to it.
