Really enjoyed the family atmospheres and the really friendly staff. The water park is great for little kids. The life guards have multiple tests with fake baby's being thrown in the water, with makes the lifeguards stay on their toes. The bar is a great place to socialize and has a great happy hour with any $2 bottle of beer, including OTR and Sam Adams. The rooms were extremely clean, the only surprise is they had no telephone in the room. Finally, the new years party sounds like a great family event. I will update if we end up attending.
This was our first time here The staff was very helpful. Our room keys didn't want to work had to go down twice so far. They said breakfast but not on weekends. The pool was nice but cold, but full of kids. No Microwave in rooms. Had to take coffee pot into the room because the plug in the bathroom didn't work. Only had two towels for three people. No extra blankets nor pillows. Won't be returning.
I have been staying at this hotel for several weeks now. Working in town. I was very surprised to see some of the negative reviews. My experience has been very satisfying to this point. Great breakfast!!
Just wish it started earlier. Doesn't start
until 7:30am. I travel for work and most other hotels I have stayed at start breakfast at 6:00
or 6:30am. Other than that, great place to stay.
DON'T WASTE YOU MONEY HERE!!!!!!! This is probably the grossest and unprofessional hotel I have ever stayed at. It took our group over 30 minutes to get our keys even though we had a reservation and have had it for months. One of our group members left because after an hour they still couldn't get into their room 3 separate keys later. The overall smell of the hotel is gross and musty, there was mold growing in our shower and visible grime. The beds were so uncomfortable we might as well have been sleeping on the floor. To top it all off when we went to check out this morning at 630 am the receptionist was ASLEEP! I had to raise my voice just to even rouse her. We will certainly not be staying at this location again, we will continue giving our money to Live Inn across the street. Cheaper prices, clean rooms, and wonderful staff over there.
NEVER, let me repeat NEVER stay in this filthy ass hotel. Not only is their staff very rude and disrespectful but the hotel itself is dirty. The splash park was great, however I recommend staying at the Hyatt across the street and just utilizing the splash park. The carpet was filthy, as well as the bath tub. Their security guard Matt was very inappropriate and very disrespectful. My room keys didnt work for either of my rooms I made a total of 10 trips to the front desk (and no its not b/c they were near a cellphone). THIS HOTEL ALSO HAS A HISTORY OF BED BUGS, so never again will I stay there. It was so NOT worth the money spent. I wish the Splash park was elsewhere, that was the only enjoyable part of our stay here.
Easily accessible from the freeway. Nice helpful staff and the front lobby is nice. Now that we've covered the good things let's get into what you really need to hear. After you walk past the main lobby there is a smell that isn't pleasing that continues up the elevator and on to the 9th floor at least. Our room had a musty smell and even with the a/c running the remaining half of the day the room never did cool down. The beds were very hard and it was just an all around unpleasant stay! Pick a better place that is more up to date!
Pleasant experience. Breakfast was good and free. Close to shopping and restaurants. If I'm being picky, the carpets could have used a good scrubbing and I wasn't crazy about the $75 incidental hold placed on my credit card. But we needed an affordable, clean, safe place to stay the night and this fit the bill. We would probably stay here again.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLEWalk into the room get hit with a horrible putrid smell, the floor is soaking wet, the mattress is hard as bricks and it's 78 degrees inside the room, its 83 outside. Called the front desk only to have someone by the name of Ms. Terry tell me somebody spilled water on the floor (basically get over it) and somebody will be bring towels and air freshener. Towels were brought up shortly, and some type of liquid air freshener that had no smell to it. Maintenance comes to tell me you have to turn the thermostat down to 66 for it to click on. Oh and lets talk about the furniture (see pics). Looks like it was bought from the local Salvation Army. The pictures you see on the internet are very deceiving. For 2 night stay @ $135 a night I would have been better off staying at a Red Roof InnOh and the ran out of vodka at 11pm on a Saturday, and the bartender had no clue what simple syrup was. Not a fun weekend. Don't stay here!!!! Stay away!!!!
Everyone at the Ramada Plaza is wonderful and so friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and the room was decorated beautifully! I also took my son and his friends to the water park and they had a fantastic time! The water park was very clean and updated. We'll definitely be going back.
Best accommodations and hospitality of any resort I've stayed at alll year. Travel 52 weeks a year. Cannot recommend it enough. Absolutely fantastic service.
Great service. Perfect for a business trip. Owner Jay was really nice and offered to pay for my Gatorade when the credit card reader wasn't working. Overall beautiful place with nice pools and bar.
Massive update of older property. New owners are updating on a big scale. Cleaner, brighter, friendlier.
We hold business meetings at this location several times a year and have found them to be friendly and flexible and dedicated to getting it right.
We had a issue with a projector and the banquet manager sent a waiter or something to a computer store for a part -right then- to get it up in time for our meeting. That is customer service!
Unqualified recommend.

Went for a wedding there were fruit flies or something flying around. The staff (wedding coordinators) were rude to people asking questions. The wait staff was slow in refills and cleaning up, just sloppy. I spoke to someone who reserved a room for the event and they booked a room across the street because they found fresh bed bugs filled with blood. When they addressed it with the front desk they said they were aware of the issue and was willing to refund and change their room!
This is the perfect hotel is you are going to any of the sporting stadiums or US Bank Arena. You are literally 2 blocks away - no need to take a bus or taxi you can walk. The hotel is very clean, very welcoming and the rooms are large and spacious. The breakfast is a step above your regular free breakfast as they have an actual kitchen to cook eggs, sausages and such. Will absolutely go back to this hotel.
