Just not my favorite. Prepare to wait awhile if you want something in the deli, not sure when they stock sports drinks, but often I am there and the shelves can be mostly empty and the people that work there just act like they are doing prison duty. I go because it is convenient, and my other store doesn't offer Gatorade. So, I learn to deal with it.

As far as supermarkets go, this is a good one. Decent wine and liquor selection and deli and bakery.

For a conventional grocery store this one has a really good produce section. It improved massively about a year ago in both selection, pricing and organic choices. The rest of the store also carries many more alternative/healthy items than I expected to find at much lower prices than Lazy Acres or Gelsons. The De la Vina store has more of these things than Goleta's Ralphs. The checkers and baggers are friendly and helpful with only one exception I've noticed.

Poorly stocked service deli. I'm a chauffeur so I've been to many Ralphs. The ones in the SB/Goleta area are not lunch time friendly. Any other Ralphs between SB and LAX are wonderful.
