I take the boys here for nature walks and they love it. Great trail and pier to help get across the marsh. Keep an eye out for the bald eagles also. Enjoy.

Beautiful path and boardwalk that leads to the James River. Don't miss it, entrance is just before the bridge, when you're heading towards NN. There is a spot off the parking lot to launch your canoe. No benches or tables. Bring a chair or blanket if you want to sit and soak in the nature around you. No restrooms. Not much shade. Bring water! Lots of fiddler crabs. Strangest sound as they swarm off the path to escape your footsteps.
