Great customer service and quality care for my cat!

I'm brand new to the area and decided to try this vet because of the good reviews online. However, I felt like I was talking to a sales representative instead of a veterinarian. Additionally, their prices are absolutely ridiculous. They wanted to do a test that was just performed on my dog a month ago for $50, when it's only $15 at other clinics. I felt they treated me with little respect and mostly just wanted to sell me their food, leashes and overpriced unnecessary tests.

Dr. Newman saved my cats life.
My cat got into poisonous chemicals one night and by morning, was having seizers in reaction to them. Dr. Newman and his staff came in hours before opening and rushed to my cats aid and by some miracle, she lived. Throughout the whole ordeal and the recovery, they kept me updated, treated my cats emergency as though she was a human, called to check on her process and gave me a more than a fair price. I continued to take my pet there for the following years that I lived in Radford and have had nothing but good experiences with them. I completely recommend them to anyone living in that area.

I have taken all my cats to RAH since moving back to the NRV in 1991, yes they have changed owners in that time but have maintained a quality, humanistic, loving and caring approach to the services they provide. Not only yearly shots and check ups but we have had to "put down" several of our cats due to age, cancer and other health issues. The doctors and staff have been great in the treatment of our pets and our feelings in all matters. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.
