I have attended Sonrise Church for 11 years. I love it and find the messages and music are ways to renew and grow my faith each week. Although Sonrise is a big church we try to make it friendly and personal, a place where new visitors are welcome.
I worked at Camp Adventure for years and the week Sonrise came was one of the best weeks. Bringing the best staff and most respectful campers. I
Excellent sermon on Act 17. However, not a single person said hello or shook my hand. They announced a new pastor. Hopefully he will make the place a little more friendly to strangers.
As for culture it's kind of trendy. Very up-itty. Hipster. Mega church branding with a small church feel.
