They have a horrific guidance counselor, unhelpful teachers, and an overall mediocre experience. I don't know why they're so highly regarded.
Great teachers and very welcoming students! Shoutout to the Language Arts teacher Tom Forrest!
Best School ever!
Lol this place is cool.
So many years ago, this building housed a generation of students with very different interests and heritages. Some were born in the Valley and others came with their parents. Some worked in The Village and ohers in the many endeavors that made Pittsburgh greatand still do. I remember walking through noisy halls, making shoe hine kits, and waiting for the end of day bell so we could get a "Skyscraper" cone at Isaly's. The hals were still noisy when I was on a 50+ year reunion tour, but the shop now had a 3D printer, and, the stores in the Village still have the same charm.
The track team still trains in the Spring and I'll bet that football is still played with the same intensity as one or two strive to play on the Varsity team. Everything has changed, but the charm, compassion, wit and wisdom of Quaker Valley continues. How nicekeep it goingchange but don't change.
