  Words cannot describe what Purpose Healing has done not just for myself but also my family. I walked into their doors broken, hurt and lost but the moment I stepped into the vehicle they picked me up in I felt something I haven't felt in years and that was love! The love that everyone showed me from the staff, the medical team down to the house manager has given me the strength to want to change. I battled with an addiction for 6.5 years that caused me to lose everything from a marriage, my family, my home, my life as a minister and also my freedom but today I can proudly say I am clean, sober and have a fresh start at being a father again. I was asked if my recovery is a dream or am I awake I quickly responded that I have dreamt for 6.5 yrs to live a life clean and sober. A life worth living where I didn't have to hurt or break my son's heart anymore and today I can happily say that dreams do come true! Thank you to everyone at Purpose Healing for loving me throughout this part of my journey. Thank you for believing in me when I couldn't believe in myself! -Jimmy Arce

  Terrible customer service. When reaching out and needing help, the first person you talk to should be helpful and empathic. This was not the case with Purpose. Bad experience, 6 to 8 weeks before you can get admitted? Really? Unheard-of..for a place for recovery.

  I completed inpatient treatment at the women's house around last Thanksgiving. I was an alcoholic of the worst kind, but now I have over 6 months clean from it! The house is amazing and very comfortable, but it's the house moms' who you will spend the most time around and are important in your recovery too. That being said, Purpose chose the best! Miss Von and Miss Tammy each bring different and wonderful things to the table. And they truly care. Truly! It's not an easy job. Read that again.They deserve to be rewarded-100% I love you ladies!
  Thank you Miss Tammy for listening without judgement and always having a smile on your face. Your calm demeanor and ability to handle chaos is awesome! You kept my anxiety at bay just from putting together puzzles with me. Those little moments meant alot to me. Still do. Thank you Miss Von, for being so spiritually present. There is a blessed vibe in the house when you are there. Those of us that embraced the love He sent us through you-felt it! You are such a feeling, spiritual, and empathetic person, that I know it's draining for you because you felt what we were feeling. You are amazing though, so I hope you stay with Purpose. Even though you have very early bedtime rulesgrumble grumble😁
  
  I think individuals therapy was beneficial, but I got the most out of groups and group literature. Honestly, I didn't personally click with my therapist as well as I would have liked. There is a fine line between tough love and abrasiveness that I believe was crossed with myself and a few others. That was a turn off. Example: There were times the general consensus was that she thought she was touching on something profound with someone in denial and was almost melodramatic about it. And relentless. And not always right. I'm not making light of this deadly disease and I do know we all need a wake up call sometimes. Having said all that, she is a well skilled therapist who will fight for you and with you to get with the program and stick with the program. I admire her and most of the girls thought she was great. And guess what? I'm still sober, so I can't complain too much! So, thank you Jana. I truly appreciate you!
  
  Other issues were as follows. Our BHT was unprofessional and in my opinion, a tad immature for the job. I hear that has since been rectified. The brochure's photos are misleading. Our rooms don't look like that and they wouldn't let us use the jacuzzi, which was the primary upset with us girls (Jacuzzi, not rooms). I think if you are that worried about the electric bill (as we were told), then make sure the house mom's control it. Problem solved. They are VERY therapeutic and should be open for use at times-as advertised. Period. ♨️
  
  Overall, I am extremely grateful I was able to go to Purpose. It is so different than your typical treatment center. That makes a significant difference! I wouldn't have made it without each and every one of you there. The integrated care was awesome. Yoga was amazing. I would love to see a special group or something extra for grief and loss and/or P.T.S.D. I would like to than only one, one-on-one weekly individual session.That's only 4 hours for the entire stay! Not enough by far!
  
  Lastly, no program will work if you aren't ready to quit. Most programs will work if you want it badly enough. I was ready this time. Different things work for different people-remember that! I am Bipolar type 2 and on my meds as well as getting the Vivitrol shot each month. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone suffering from opiate or alcohol addiction. It's a combination of the program, meds, holistic living, and God in the end. For me. So if you are interested in getting help, please call Purpose and get the care you need and will receive there. What do you have to lose? You can get off of that drug/alcohol fueled elevator at any time on any floor. You don't have to wait until it hits bottomor a new bottom!

  My name is Summer and I have 48 days sober. I checked myself into Purpose Healing for drugs and alcohol and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I spent 28 days at the women's home and I made the absolute most of it as I was desperate to change my life. The staff at Purpose Healing used an individualized treatment plan that was unique to each individual and they addressed each of my issues promptly and thoroughly. Here I was able to work with primary therapist, Jana Easley in both individual and group therapy sessions. I found that this collaboration was extremely beneficial to me as I was able to work on open communication, behavior modification, and relapse prevention throughout my time here. The women's house has two outstanding house managers, Tami and Von who are highly skilled at working with women battling drug and alcohol addiction. Not only are they skilled in their area of expertise, they truly care about each client who enters the home and their path to recovery. I highly recommend Purpose Healing to anyone who is seeking help for drug and alcohol addiction. It is an experience I will never forget and it has changed my life for the better.

  Best decision I’ve ever made was reaching out for help and calling purpose. The entire process was smooth and comforting. When I came in the staff was wonderful and got me assigned to the Shea house where I would find out would be the biggest blessing of my journey to recovery. Michael our BHT was there for me during the day whenever I needed anything or was having a hard time with outside issues, he was able to use his past experiences and sobriety to help me get through anything. Our house manager Charles was a pivotal part of my recovery and helped me day in and day out with everything I needed and was always there to talk and help me, I look forward to my lifelong friendship with Charles. Kyle our therapist was beyond amazing he really gets to know each client individually and helps you with anything that comes up. He puts time aside to make sure he’s always there to talk to anyone and I enjoyed my time with him greatly and will miss him as I graduate the program and move into sober living. I will miss purpose and all the amazing staff. Brent helped me get into alliance sober living and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. I’m so glad I found purpose and found a happiness in life I haven’t had in 10+ years. Thank you for that Purpose!!!
