Love Publix in Lake Placid Fl. All the employees are friendly and go out of their way to help you. The new store is awesome.

Went to the market and ordered 3/4 Lb of chicken breast and asked for thin sliced. The meat cutter after showing me a thin slice cut the meat thick sliced. If you go to a restaurant and after viewing the menu make an order and you are brought something completely different, question why did they give you a menu in the first place?

Everything has always been very clean and well stocked and organized. The staff is very friendly, and the lines always go quick and are never long.

Pretty awesome selection of organic foods (although the organic chicken breasts are either always out or they have stopped selling it- I have only see it once) I do hate that they are almost always out of the little plastic bags in the meat dept. that keep raw meat from touching all the other foods in my cart while I shop, I often have to grab one from the veggie area and bring it over.

Overall really pleasant shopping experience every time I go, but then again you can't go wrong with a Publix!

Typical Publix where they do making shopping easy with lots of variety and well trained staff. While you're there take a look at the giant murals on the side of the buildings around town and discover more murals throughout the city of Lake Placid.
