Lease ending late 2017. Multiple issues. Check out the updates for big picture account.

Update 9.2 got a call from First communities. They basically said the property manager refuses to waive the fee (even though she claims to have done this).

Update 9.1: Got a call from First Communities (management company) and I was advised it is not policy for them to wave late fees under any circumstances. I asked for a refund seeing how Candice, the property manager, claims to have waived late fees for other residents. I was advised the management company would speak with Candice on the matter of waiving late fees for residents and look into getting me a refund. I am scheduled to hear from First Communities today or tomorrow.

Update 9: Can I just go ahead and give them a 0? Went in to pay my rent. I was advised I had to pay a late fee even though they are closed on Sunday. Here is the thing: Candice, the property manager, clearly stated she could wave the fee cause she's done it before. When I asked why she couldn't do it for me, she said it was cause I came in too late and the fee was already in the system. Asked her to show me she said "sir, I'm not doing all that work for you." Then she said "and I'm not about to do that when you here arguing with me." Excuse me? You mean I just had to pay an extra $200 cause I didn't give her a pleasant experience? Great customer service, first communities properties (management company).

Update 8.3: Maintenance came in tinkered with somethings behind the stove and in the furnace room. They claim they didn't find a leak. I asked them about the smell. He said he didn't know where it came from but stated he didn't find a leak in my furnace or stove. I expressed my concern about figuring out where the smell came from. Maintenance, again, reiterated that they did not find a leak in my stove or furnace. They stated that if I didn't agree with him I should call the gas company. According to maintenance, everything should be fine. Will update if not dead and next time something else happens.

Update 8.2: Maintenance is back with backup. Left for about 10 min. They're working on..something? Will update if not dead.

Update 8.1: Maintenance couldn't figure out where the gas smell was coming from. Quick response time. Less than 5 min. Maintenance guy told me to leave the door open and he would be right back. It's been about 10 min since then. Still haven't blown up.

Update 8: A.C. is fine and has been since the last update (maybe 2 or three months?) but there is a smell of gas in my apt. The office is sheduled to respond shortly.

Update 7: A.C. broke again this afternoon. Fortunately, maintenance was out within minutes. A.C. is fixed again, for now.

Update 6: About three hours and 3 phone calls later, maintenance showed up. They've "fixed" the problem for now. We'll see if my ac/heat can go through another week before it breaks again.

Update 5: It has been two hours. No one is here yet. I called an hour ago. They said maintenance would be over in a little. Now they're telling me I'm second on the technician's list.

Update 4: Went up to the office this morning. The rep with whom I spoke was very nice. However, it's been an hour and no response. Will update again in an hour.

Update 3: Air conditioner broke again. It's been about a week since the last time it broke. Will update on response time.

Update 2: Maintenance just arrived. Response time for an emergency:
    A little over an hour.

Update 1: My heater is now broken (they just fixed" my ac bout a weekago). Their policy states it's an emergency because it's under 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Will update on their response time.

I could easily give them 3 stars, but it feels like my air conditioning/heat has been broken once a week since I've moved in, which alone isn't an issue. However, I feels like I'm fighting with the management to get someone to come over and fix it. I just don't understand at what point they just suck it up and get a new unit.

And I'm sure not every unit experiences the same issue, but its like come on, you know?

Bunch of lies. Sólo mienten. We spoke with Stephanie who helped us with the application (which is $100 btw) on Saturday and initially she said that there would be a fee that doesn't get returned if you have bad credit but that it shouldn't be more than $300 something. Later that day she called us saying that it would be $550. Which according to her since the manger was not there she couldn't check the credit so we're did she get the $550 from? Now come Monday and she said that fee would be $600 because of lack of credit. Now I don't know where they check your credit but I know that mine is around 650 and just purchased a brand new vehicle so they are way off. It's a scam just to get money. I should not have to pay that un- returnable fee with my credit, it's enough that I paid $100. Don't rent here. No renten aquí, quieren mucho dinero por un ver que no devuelven (entre $300-600 +)

Well I felt it time to redo my review of the apartment after a year. Honestly if personally issues hadn't lead me to not moving I would have. This have improved somewhatoffice staff in my experience has been a bit better and Miguel in maintenance has been a great person. However, in getting back to phones calls and emails it hasn't happened. Whoever their pest control is, doesn't do their job. Called about issue and pest control came out said they would have to send another person and I don't think they ever did. Have called about issue again and didn't hear back, we'll see about the email response time.

Again as I said before in my first review, are there better places? Yes there are but there is also probably worse as well.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. Leaks left and right to the point where the floor/ceiling/walls is coming up , leasing office isn't helpful, maintenance isn't helpful, walls are PAPER THIN SO YOU CAN HERE EVERYTHING INCLUDING YOUR NEAR BY NEIGHBORS. My roommate and I have been living here for about 4months and I purposely have waited to post a review because I was hoping for things to turn around by now but no. ITS ONE PROBLEM RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER. We have so many issues that we don't even feel like calling maintenance because they do nothing about it or say it's fixed when it's not. Doesn't seem like maintenance is train at all to deal with these apartments issues. They duck tape and super glue everything. Princeton Heights Apartments , I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

DON'T DO IT! I've been living here over a year now and it's the worse place I've ever stayed!!!! The dumpster is always over flowing with trash! There are dozens of stray cats and dogs! The place is infested with roaches and fruit flies! In the summer the fruit flies invade and they still haven't done anything about it! Very rude staff! Routine burglaries !

I had to resign my lease because I had nowhere else to go. I love the manager, her name is Candice. She really does all she can do to help you out and that's the only reason why I even gave this place one star!

First of all this place isn't worth $940! The paint is so cheap that if you even bump up against it it leaves a stain. If you try to wash the walls or anything the paint comes off. The dishwasher is old and barely works, the dish disposal breaks down every other week. The cabinets are old and worn and don't even close all the way. The paint that is on the doors literally is peeling off by itself. It was a bubble at first but now it's just peeling off! The tub was never resealed properly so it's like pulling teeth to keep the tub clean! Only way I will get anything fixed is to do it myself. My sink is STILL a leaking lightly in both bathrooms and kitchen. The maintenance swear they fix things but they don't! I just have to put a towel under the sink and just expect it to be like that until I move. I'm annoyed at today's events. I was going to not even post a comment but today was the last straw! I'm so over it!

Like others have said it's not the worst place to live but it's definitely better places that don't charge as much and are actually worth $940! The place I lived previously painted and cleaned the carpet every year you lived there. I only paid $850 there. Some of the people in the office are rude and condescending. I can't wait until my lease is up. Hopefully they do improve their staff and apartments because it's not fair that people are paying an arm and a leg for an apartment that's realistically worth $750-$790 a month.

    Update:

This apartment is just getting worse!! The stairs now leading up to my apartment are beat the hell up! Holes all in the staircase! People outside all hours of the night messing with people's cars smhI wish they would let me out this lease with no penalty because I would be GONE!!!!!!! Just changing the rent prices in the middle of the lease. How??????? I am so aggravated with this place! And don't even get me started on the staff!!! RUDE RUDE AND MORE RUDE! The only one who has any professionalism is Candace (Property Manager). If you are going to continue RAISE THE RENT, REMODEL THE RAGGEDY ASS APARTMENTS! Duh!! It only make sense! If I'm going to pay damn near $1000 I'd like it to look like it's worth more than $750!

I Lived here in 2014 before i moved to Miami to take a new job offer!!! Now that I'm back in ATL apartment hunting i see that they changed the name and management staff.I must say I myself read a lot of bad reviews before I moved in but u cant believe everything someone post up u gotta see for yourself!! I truly loved my apartment it was updated and very homie. I mainly worked and just came home no one bothered me and i stayed to myself. Theresa was the leasing agent who worked with me from day one to get in very good lady she was and to be honest i still would have been living there if i was not laid off from work in ATL Happy apartment hunting!!

Alright alright alright. Been living here three months and I felt it was time to put my two cents worth in. It's not the worst place in the Atlanta area, trust me there are worse. Now is it the greatest? No but they are improving somewhat. The biggest complaint I have is the fact there is only one dumpster for the community and it will tend to get a little full on Sundays when they aren't here to run the trash compactor for it. As for the price it at least includes pest control and water so there is that.

Other than that they have changed out office staff and they seem to be a bit better than when we first moved in. However, communication is a tad lacking having come from a community out of state that used email and even text to communicate when there was a problem going on or an event going to happen. Would also be nice to be able to submit a work order online rather than having to call or go in person, it's the 21st century and your website even mentions being able to do it in the resident portal.

Unfortunately the work out center is also only open when the office is, but there is at least snap fitness down the road to use late at night when I get home. The location is close to Tucker and lilburn so that's a plus it's out of the way enough that traffic isn't too horrible. It is an older apartment community so the buildings are showing some age as is the parking lot and all, from what I have seen no major problems once they have been addressed. Which brings us to the maintenance staff, the head guy is great and will get things done, but based on the few interactions with the others they are a tad lacking in urgency. I get it we aren't the only ones in the community but waiting 48 hours to have an AC looked out is a bit much.

With all that the community is relatively quiet and mostly clean and calm. Could you find better? Probably but there is definitely a lot worse you could find in the area.
