My recruiter was VERY unprofessional and lied to me several times! She was several minutes late for my first interview. A woman who was waiting before my arrival got upset and canceled her interview because she was waiting for a while as well. When I was called, I walked into a cramped room with 5 cubicles; to a desk full of papers everywhere. The recruiter pulled up a chair BESIDE her and started her interview process. Several days later I was called to interview with a company interested in me. I went to the interview and was called back several days by the recruiter saying I got the job. The next step in their process was for me to take several vaccination shots then do a background and drug test. I had to spend $130 to take 6 vaccination shots that took a month and several weeks to get. The recruiter told me this would take two weeks but the clinic informed me that that was impossible because you had to wait a week after you took a shot to take another shot. The clinic said that would be too many shots in a short time frame and that it wouldn't be healthy for my body. I told this to the recruiter and they said I could go to another clinic and take the shots. The recruiter wasn't even aware of they type of shots I was taking. After taking one of these shots I passed out later that day and was not feeling well. I informed the recruiter the next day, she asked how I was feeling and then asked when I was going to take the rest of the shots. That doesn't sound too concerned about my health. After I finish taking all of my shots a month and several weeks later I find out that I already had the shots when I was younger. If the recruiter would of just asked for my immunization card instead of just directing me to the clinic this would of been avoided. So that wasted $130 of my money, I got 6 shots for no reason, passed out and wasted a month and several weeks of my time, very unprofessional. The next step was the background and drug test, which I think you should do before having to be sent off to take shots the company is unfamiliar about. I get a call from the recruiter saying something came up on my background check that I was convicted of. I had a little misdemeanor 7 years ago that was dismissed from court which has never been a problem in the pastand its not a felony. The recruiter's attitude changed and she started to sound rude. The recruiter (SHARI WEAVER) insisted I was convicted and that it would be a problem. I stated it had to be a problem because I was never convicted of anything. She accused me of failing to tell her information and stated she would call me back. This did not sound right to me so I went to my lawyer's office to double check. I was correct, I was never convicted of anything. I got a print out of my record from my lawyers office and sent it to my recruiter requesting if she could contact me so that we can discuss the situation because I was really confused as to what was going on. I left 4 voice messages over a month time frame and still did not receive a call. It has now been over 2 months from when I was offered the job and I haven't heard anything. Two weeks later I call her and ask for a status update. She informs me the last time we spoke she made it clear that I didn't have the job, FIRST LIE. I reminded her of our last conversation where she said she would call me back and told her about the print out from my lawyers office. She then accused me of trying to argue with her. I was very shocked that she would say this to me. I informed her I was not trying to argue with her, I was trying to get an understanding as to why her records are showing I was convicted when that wasn't the case. Also as to why she never called me back. I asked to speak to a manager, she said there isn’t one in today, SECOND LIE. As we are discussing my record SHE HANGS UP ON ME. I call back and asked the receptionist if there was a manager in I could talk to and she said yes and put one on the phone. She was very unprofessional and lied to me several times. I would never refer someone to this company.
