Feeling that it's time to vent. So, in 2013 my air conditioning in my car was repaired by Preferred Ford in Grand Haven, and cost me $1100. When I turned it on the next season, it didn't work. I took it back to Preferred, and they said there was nothing they could do about it. A few days ago my car puked and I was able to get it to a repair shop, but they were unable to fix it b/c Ford is the only place w tool to fix. The repair shop wanted to send it to Preferred in Grand Haven where I live to have it fixed. I found out this morning that I have been put on Preferred Ford's "No Service" list. Unbelievable!!! Are you kidding me right now??? They took $1100 from me for a repair THEY didn't do right, I complain, and then they don't want to service my car? NO PROBLEM!!! Barber Ford in Holland, where I have been getting it serviced, is going to have it towed to their place and fix it for me!!! I love Barber Ford!!!

I’m not really one to rate businesses but I️ stopped by because a car caught my eye. I️ had forgotten Ducky worked at Preferred, he was extremely helpful about showing me a few new lease options. I️ also asked him for fun what car he’d ever want to drive and surprisingly the choices were all used cars. Great experience with a friendly face.

It can be difficult walking into a dealership as a woman and not feeling like you’re being a little swindled. I’m sure other women have felt the same way.

I tell you though - with courteous gentlemen like Josh working for them, this place will always have my vote. He was knowledgeable, kind, and didn’t underestimate me as a buyer. Very impressed would be an understatement.

Until Thursday's snow, my wife and I were not aware that our 2017 Focus ST lease came with summer tires. Had we known, we would have demanded all season tires. I have emailed the General Manager to see if this could be rectified, but have had no response. It is unfair for us to have to purchase new tires for a leased vehicle after 5500 miles. I am very frustrated with our experience at Preferred Ford. It is obvious that no one reads their emails. UPDATEAfter speaking with General Manager Jerry Schutte and Service Manager Matt Babcock it was agreed to provide us with winter tires at their expense. They were installed this morning and our car is handling exceptionally in today's snow and ice! Thank you Jerry and Matt for your exceptional response to our dilemma! My faith in exceptional customer service has been restored!

Came to Preferred looking for a Ford F-150 I ran into a guy whose name was Chad but also went by ducky. I explained to him that I was shopping around and he took me around the lots and showed me some of the trucks I was interested in seems to know a lot about what he was talking about. And at no time did I feel pressured to buy something I didn't want. Great guy. I ended up not buying from preferred as I would like to keep looking around but the way I was treated while I was there was nothing short of exceptional.

Great place to shop. Ask for Chad Gitchel if you want to work with a knowledgeable, and easy going salesman. Everyone hates being pressured into a purchase but that's NOT what you will experience at Preferred.

I really am pleased with the helpfulness of Chad aka Ducky. Even after the sale he is more than accommodating to help with any questions you my have. Even when he is just out in public always a smile and hello! The whole Ford team is very nice.

Stopped in to look for a Jeep i saw on the website and Chad was very helpful in helping me find it. He also showed me a couple other SUV’s within my budget. Definitely felt confident and comfortable talking to him without feeling like he was trying to just push any car sale possible down my throat.
