Cool place but we waited for a waitress to show up and it took about 20 minutes. As we were getting up to leave a waitress showed up but it was to late. It wasn't that busy either, maybe they were short staffed? Might go back and try it again.

Love this place, great staff, great food, and an amazing atmosphere! The waitresses are great and pleasent. Great craft beers, and the beers would be nothing without awesome bartender's to serve you, Sarah and the girls are great. It has become a "Cheer's" like environment that anyone would love to be apart of. Good job guys

Pretty darn good. My one two complaint was the acoustics. Seriously it was difficult to talk. However the food was good. The breading on the corn dog was great but the actual Frankfurter could have been a lot better. The tuna was pretty awesome and I loved the salad. Fresh greens and herbs.

Very good food and great atmosphere. The service can be a bit slow at times. Definitely a great place to grab dinner or lunch. A little on the pricey side but usually worth it.

The food here is fantastic half the time.
There are certain qualities all restaurants should strive for, and consistency is paramount. Consistent is not how I would describe my experiences at Prairie Street.

When I first discovered this place I was blown away by the cheese curds and the hand breaded chicken sandwich. I came multiple times a week to get my fix; I brought all my friends.. and that's when I noticed a pattern.

The cheese curds were either AMAZING, or half raw and inedible. There was no in-between. The chicken sandwich was either INCREDIBLE, or stringy, dry and burnt to a crisp. The service was either STELLAR, or nearly non-existent.

It doesn't matter how good the food is, if I don't know what to expect when walking through the door. I do believe I've made my last trip to Prairie Street, as sad as that make me.

My husband and I were married this past fall at Prairie Street Brewhouse and prior to that we had been several times to visit and to show our parents. The food and beers are to die for and the staff that helped us make our dream wedding happen went above and beyond. PSB will always have a special place in our hearts and we are excited to go back for a beer sometime.

I have been to this location several times since they opened 5 or 6 years ago. The seating on the deck by the river is really nice. The restaurant section on the main floor is great and the bar in the lower level is great, also. The lower level has full windows and doors, so it is not dingy. The food is great and the staff is equally great. I was the class adviser for the class that had their prom there. It was a great location for the prom. A lot of weddings are held there, especially for people coming from Chicago because the price is so much lower than Chicago and the suburbs. The only issue is parking is a premium in the late afternoon on Fridays. There is plenty of parking along the street, but their parking lots are usually jammed for a few hours on Friday late afternoons.

Fabulous food, drinks, and atmosphere. You can't beat the view while dining dockside and they always have great live music. One of my favorite venues in Rockford.

Great building/facility located on the Rock River. Really nice deck/patio with boat docks. Menu was creative and the food quality was awesome. I grabbed a growler to go.

We recently had a silent auction for our school. The staff was fabulous and friendly. Wilson ASPIRE school is affiliated with Rockford Public School district. Prairie Street Brewhouse is always generous with the school district and allows many of the school districts events to be held here with great success. They have great food, many types of specially brewed beer and it is located right on the Rock River. You have to check this place out if you visit Rockford, Illinois.

This place is a nice gem and was a great end to our time in Rockford. We sat on the deck outside next to the river and there was live music. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and made good recommendations. Top all that off with good food and it made for a great experience. I would definitely go there again, no hesitation.

I was here for a bridal shower in the peacock room. This was a great venue for such an event! Staff was attentive, and the food was great! They kept bringing out a wide variety of small appetizer/tapas foods that were all quite delicious.
