Had the pot roast and it was delicious. Parking lot is always packed and that's a sure sign that it's good. Must be Yankees giving all the bad reviews. They're never happy with anything.

Slow service. The "Buffet” is a waste of time in my opinion. Not much to choose from and a little costly.

What a surprise you get when you step through these doors A nice greeting an kind server an the food omy I ordered a club sandwich with fries. When I got my club sandwich that looked like the jolly green giant should be eating it. A pound of ham, pound turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, a home made toasted butter bread. I ate one quarter an I struggled to eat that got a doggie bag .. my mom an aunt got a deep fried pork chop, stewed okra, steamed cabbage roll an pineapple upside down cake..Anything you order you won't be disappointed in..Always fresh cooked good tastes an heaping monster servings and a happy an upbeat server that made us feel relaxed an welcomed..There's delicious desserts to choose from..

Worst dining experience of my life! My family and I went today 10/28/17 around 2:30. We had to seat ourselves and we ordered our drinks then as soon as the drinks were brought we ordered our food. A few of us ordered the Saturday special for mullet and the other 2 ordered chicken strips and a burger. By this time it was probably 2:50. My family and I watched group after group sit down, order, and receive their meals and finish them while we, with 2 small children, sat without drinks nor our orders. We sat there until 3:40 before we had had enough. My husband went to the counter to pay for our drinks and the man who was running the cash register was extremely rude to him for us leaving. Mind you our waiter never once came to our table to let us know how much longer we were going to have to wait nor to make sure we didn’t need anything else. My family nor I will ever be going back to this establishment.

We decided to stop in for breakfast after no longer being able to tolerate the prefab hotel food. The food was delicious and the waitstaff was very hospitable. Thank you all for the great food and service!

Friday Special. Pulled Pork 2 sides and Iced Tea. They were very busy for lunch, but they were efficient and attentive. Friendly and good service. Price was a good value. I would recommend this place.

WOW! Our waitress was vivacious and had great advice. She brought a taste of swamp cabbage, a local dish with heart of palm, to try, and I highly recommend it! Mashed potatoes were homemade, the butter was real, the.grilled chicken was moist and the iced tea fresh. Casual mom and pop atmosphere. We will be back!

Everything about our visit was wonderful! The staff were right on, very welcoming, our drink order was taken right away by a nice polite young man, shortly after our order was taken by a very nice and sweet young lady, when our food arrived after a reasonable wait time she asked several times if we needed anything and how was everything. We were often greeted by several different staff to make sure our meal was good and asked if we needed anything! Tonight was their seafood night My husband had the mullet dinner with sides, I had the shrimp plate my son had the kids chicken tenders everything was so very delicious! It was totally perfect! The price was also very reasonable! We love this place and all who work there they make you feel right at home It's definitely one of the best places to eat in Perry, Florida!

I would rate a 1, but my husband really liked his BLT and the fried green tomato appetizer was great.
    BUT
My stomach hurts already and we just left. I had a shrimp po boy. ( Well, only 1\2) The bun was soggy, 6 soggy shrimp, abt a head of lettuce and some tomatoes on life support. No dressing. French Frys we also soggy.
Service was non-existent. Took order, brought appetizer, filled coffee, left. Didn't see her again until the lunch came. Couldnt get a coffee refill. Had to go to the counter to get a box for the rest of hubby's sandwich and the bill. We waited so long my cell phone battery went dead.
    BESIDES that everything was fine.

Food was good presentation was not. I had cheesy hash browns, eggs sunny side up, bacon and grits. Eggs were on top of hash attached to cheesy and bowl of grits smashed an egg. But everything was delicious just poor presentation.

It loked inviting. There was a ton of fast food places near. Great food Desert was wonderful tons of exotic choices baked locally. The staff was very attentive. It had a great small town vibe. Restroom was clean. Overall a good memory on a long road trip.
