This park has everything you could want in a park: hiking, camping, swimming, and fishing. There are picnic areas, a general store, and several nature areas, as well as a two story nature center. There's even a cemetery. The park has so much to offer, you could spend an extended weekend here camping to check it all out. All of this, and it's only 7 dollars for one vehicle to get in. I highly recommend if you're looking of a great place to get outdoors.

This is one of Indiana's best kept secrets. The hikes are great and the campground is paved for good biking. There are wooded and open sites for everyone's pleasure. It has a nice playground as well. The Halloween weekend is a yearly trip for our family.

We enjoy the different activities that are available here. The four-mile 4-mile, paved bike trail one way, is an awesome way to spend some time out in nature. They also have many trails that you can explore. We always enjoy staying here. We enjoy the 50 amp sites. The only other thing that we could use, would be full hookup. Otherwise a fantastic place for a vacation!!!

Beautiful scenery. They had a prairie maze. You get a sense of what it was like to walk thru the great plains before the Europeans arrived. Nice hiking trails. It's always nice to get out of the city and enjoy the peace.

Great place, clean showers and well kept camping areas, parks, etc.. Love coming here, close to home. Maybe a couple more parks closer to camping circles is the only thing I would recommend. Especially for children with disabilities. No place to park near the bigger one.

Great campground. First time tent camping with a family of seven and it was a great spot to do so. Big sites, lots of trees and trails, clean showers with warm water and a great Nature Center. The bike trails are wonderful!

Very nice hiking trails that are pretty well marked and cleared. Not a lot of hikers so it was great being able to be alone with nature. Had some great places to take family pictures and the kids really enjoyed the beach.

This is my favorite place in IN to go for a trail ride with my horse. It is big enough to go for a couple hour ride or there are trails for a shorter ride if time does not allow. The camping areas are neat and kept up. The bathrooms are usually open and clean. Although this isn't a place for thrill seekers it sure makes for a lovely place to visit every day of the week-!

Great place for a picnic, or camping trip. They have everything! Great bike trails. Nice cabins too. Boat kayak canoe rental. Knowledgeable staff in the nature center. Fishing. General store. Tent and camper and RV areas. Boy scout areas. Beautiful nature. There's shelters and pavilions you can rent. We get the yearly state pass and go often.
It's a great place for kids and family. Even our teenagers love it!

Always lovely, with a good selection of trails for hiking, several boat launches, and lots of modern camping facilities. Fishing is generally good, and the prospects for foraging are good too. The beach is a joy in the summer. Can be crowded sometimes.

Potato Creek is one of my favorite parks!
It has so much to offer! It's beautiful, clean and there are so many fun things to do there. Great camping, clean, fun cabins, paddle boats, canoes, and fishing boats to rent, great picnic spots, trails to hike, paved bike trails, mountain bike trails, wildlife viewing, a fun nature center.these are some of the things Potato Creek has to offer. One of my favorite things is seeing the bald eagles that have come back to the area.
