It's a nice place to view the lake and fish if that's your thing. Shoreline access, ample parking and shelter house with several tables and grills.

DNR really should have kept the trash can though because taking it away does not "encourage" people to carry out their trash, in fact the opposite.

However, I guess occasional groundskeeping is less costly as trash removal AND groundskeeping?

This was my family's first time here after I had heard so much about it.
This park is incredible. There is so much to see and do, if you have children, its a must!
Love this place. Playgrounds are amazing

There is a nice picnic shelter here, with a sandy/rocky beach to climb on, and a very large parking lot nearby.
