Great restaurant. I miss half price ribs on Monday. I love that this Portillos has a Barnellis attached.

The customer service is exceptional here.
I was just over there. I ordered a jumbo hotdog with chili cheese fries. When I had realized that they had forgotten to give me my side of chili with the chili cheese fries I had ordered, I called and Alberto the manager, agreed to replace my whole order - free off charge. That was so generous of him to do when I went back there and picked up the order he had assured me over the phone that - I DID get.

Drive through was fast with two guys standing in cold taking orders. Fast and accurate. Chili cheese dog so good.

Tasty big beef with peppers. Got a drink and onion rings. Just shy of 15$. Good food, but a bit pricey for what it was. As other people have mentioned, it's a mad house around lunch. But for good reason I suppose.

All about timing. Very busy at lunchtime.
Also around dinnertime.
Just across the street from Lutheran General Hospital.
Parking lot is a challenge!
Be very careful as the drive thru is a zoo!
It is the food that attracts numerous crowds! You either like the food or not. High volume definitely not quiet in there.

Good food, good concept. Maybe I came on a bad day but I had to wait 15-20 minutes for my food. My brother-in-law ordered right before me and was done eating by the time I finally got my food.

Great chocolate cake especially when it's free on your birthday! Hots tasty and so is beef. Never had anything bad here. Friendly service.

I love their food especially their fries and magical chocolate cake! However, it seems that anytime we come here something is wrong with our order. Either something is missing, something is wrong, or like today when we had to wait over 20 min so the staff could figure out whose order was who's. Wish their system worked better or their employee training.

Horrible customer service. They are messing up with the orders all the time.
A couple of times I ordered Hot Grilled Caesar Salad without eggs, but they put eggs.
When I ordered Veggie Grilled sandwich for my vegetarian co-worker, they messed it up with a different non-vegetarian sandwich.
When I ordered a Garbage salad they gave me Garden Salad. And when I was standing in line for this order I saw them messing up an order for the lady in front of me.
Their favorite food to mess up is cheese fries. When I ordered 3 small cheese fries they gave me just fries.
After all this I finally got pissed off and called them. They kept saying I didn't order cheese fries and they have a proof-receipt.
But if somebody by mistake didn't put cheese fries, it doesn't mean I didn't order it. I asked if they have recording of a phone call so that we can check. But the lady was super rude!!! She told me - want your cheese come and get it. I explained her that I am working and cannot come, and if they can give me some discount or gift card for next time. But the lady continued to be rude, shouted that I got what I ordered and simply hang up on me.
I'm in shock! I am so angry and disappointed. Customer service is the most important thing in every business, but this customer service SUCKS!!!!!!response / report this review -

Great service and even better food. This place will have you hooked. They are always busy but always fast service. The workers hustle and always have my order right. There is something here for everyone. Can't wait to go back. Love the Italian beef with cheese fries.

Decently short lines, full customization possible, and lots of menu options. Plenty of seating, great for groups or individuals! The atmosphere is old school and is very comfortable.

Always delicious Italian Beef, Combo (Mmmmmmextra gravy or dipped, please!), and many others. Reasonably priced and decently fast service for the amount of traffic they handle. This place is almost always rocking. Can't help but love all the decorations around as well. A must-stop for food.

Cheese burgers are the best, also their pasta diavolo is out standing.ordering is done in two lines. One is for americanfare and the other is pasta's and salads.so yummy:)

Landmark establishment serving the best Italian beef, burgers, dogs and pastas. This place is packed 24/7 but the wait times are usually no longer than 5-10 minutes. Do yourself a favor and get a slice of eclair cake to go.
