(See the update below for a current review) The restaurant at the Port LaBelle Inn has apparently been operating for a long time without a license and has been in violation of state food safety rules, with dozens of critical safety violations for many months as well. At least one diner has reported being sick after eating the seafood there.

Update April 2016 - The motel has been renovated in recent years under the ownership of St. Matthew House, a drug and alcohol rehab organization in Naples. The men in the rehab program occupy the 3rd floor rooms. The restaurant is not open to motel guests as only the men in the program use the kitchen and dining room. The motel is encouraging groups to use the motel for conferences and meetings.

It's a good place to stay or have a function at. Have stayed here many times. Staff is friendly. Has alot to offer i.e. canoeing, biking, volleyball, swimming, walking, tennis , ect

My experience was AMAZING. They have friendly staff and LaBelle is just Awe inspiring with its beautiful landscapes and of course SWAMP CABBAAAAAAAGE. I will always come back here to visit LaBelle for sure. God Bless.
