They put a turbo heater in my crawl space for 2-3 hours to heat up the pipes so I could have running water. After that I still have NO running water and a bill of over 630 dollars, for what? paid them in full before they left. You can go to meanrds get two turbo heaters, 5 gallon gas can, and fill it up with fuel and you would still have money leftover. Such a waste of time and a even bigger waste of money.

This generator and installation has been a highly satisfactory experience.
The sales person was good to work with; he was able to answer all our questions, and make helpful suggestions.

Popejoy has always been great to work with! You can always count on them to come out and fix your emergencies right away! Every time you call, you always get to speak with a live person (you don't have to leave messages and wait for a call back). I have always received high-quality customer service from the Popejoy office staff and their technicians. I use Popejoy for all my plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical needs! I have also used their services to trench in outside electrical and gas lines! The Popejoy sales team has always been great to work with! Fabulous! I had a Popejoy employee come to my house for a plumbing issue (thank you, by the way, for fixing the mystery leak!) and during conversation I mentioned that we had no AC in our 100 year old house. The plumber referred me to Popejoy's HVAC department and I scheduled a visit for a free estimate. I was thrilled that the estimate was free and NO pressure, first of all, but secondly, the gentleman who came over and did the measurements to determine what size system I would need noticed that my chimney was blocked with crumbled brick/mortar which meant that my 1961 furnace was exhausting carbon monoxide directly into my home. YIKES!!! So I asked for a quote on a new furnace as well to replace the old one while we were at it. We ended up with an AC, furnace and an electronic air cleaner. Two guys came over, wore shoe covers, and did the work in one day. They were kind and respectful of my home. They left everything clean and then a few days later, another gentleman came over to go over the system and the new thermostat with me. The price was fair, the work was thorough, and the service was top notch. I called back when it was time to remodel my bathroom and had them do all of the work for that because I was so impressed. This is a company that will go above and beyond to take care of you for the long haul!

This place is a con! Lady on the phone told me it would be $79 an hour to have them snake my drain. Then 1 hour and 15 minutes later they charge me $401 !!!! Talk about misrepresentation. The guy says well you pulled 2 of us in. I didn't pull 2 in, the woman on phone did. Never did she state it was $79 an hour a person , which still is not $401. They just pulled a number out of the air and overcharged for the service. My daughter was home while I worked or I would never have paid such an inflated rate. The best I can do is warn others.

Changed my review after speaking with owner. He made things right. Be sure you get all charges listed up front. Their time starts when they start loading truck to head to a job and ends when they get back and have the unloaded truck. Each guy they send gets $79 an hour , so make sure you know how many men they are sending out because you are paying each one. The owner was super nice and he did call and say he woukd correct my bill and speak to the phone girl about clarifying charges. For that reason changing from 1 star to 3.
