A very disapointing experience. Though the staff was very friendly and attentive, the pizza was terrible and ridiculously overpriced. We paid over $20 for a small pizza that was overloaded with soggy tasteless vegtables and chewy meat (The Farmers Daughter pizza). I would recommend buying a personal frozen pizza instead, much cheaper, and much more enjoyable to eat.
Unique barn setting with picnic table seating. Good pizza and great place for kids. Small arcade in the back room along with juke box music. Brings back memories of going there as a kid on the way to North Conway. Frosted mugs for the beers are a great touch.
Ho hum pizza; only reason it was featured in Phantom Gourmet was for the fact that you dine in a barn; that's it. I've finally learned to steer clear of those advertised spots on these type of shows/magazine outlets. The biggest problem is cook times. Never an excuse for a basic one topping pizza to take 50 minutes. I don't care if its Saturday night. Then downsize your barn. Obviously you can't handle the traffic flow per your kitchen layout. I gave it a second chance even; both times it took 50 minutes and without even ordering apps- I'm not kidding.
First of all, if you are looking for fine china, candle lit dinners or cloth napkins, this is not the place for you. It's called a barn for a reason. But if you have a sense of adventure and an appetite for good pizza, then I would highly recommend visiting the Pizza Barn. I usually eat here on my way to New Hampshire for vacation, and it's a great stop. With restrooms and good food, it's a staple of our trek. It does only have one member of wait staff, but we're not usually in any hurry. It is a very different and unique restaurant in the respect that it is a concerted barn. They have an interesting history and a rustic atmosphere that in my mind embodies New Hampshire. I would highly recommend it, as long as you don't mind that it was a barn!
Very unique atmosphere. Service was fantastic. I had the taco pizza and some "Buffalo" wings. The pizza was ok, but I'd probably try a different variety next time. The "Buffalo" wings come without sauce, and were pretty flavorful, but not what I was expecting.
We got there and after waiting five minutes we realized we had to seat ourselves, the first red flag. the food on the menus sounded good, and i got a tuna submarine. it was overstuffed with tuna and i couldn't eat it. the fries were soft and way too hot, and the dining area was dark. only one waitress, one "bartender" and a few people working in the kitchen. i will not be coming here again.
Love the old-fashioned wood interior. Nostalgic family-friendly place. The pizza itself is fairly thick crust and heavy on the cheese and toppings. They put an obscene amount of pepperoni on pizza. Frosty mugs for beer and soda are a plus.
$22.00 terrible waste of money. Absolutely worst pizza in New England, of all the negative reviews, use your own judgment, the should just go out of business or sell cars, real bad, wish I read reviews first. And I usually do. I had one piece, yik, I took the rest home, put it out for the coyotes, even they wouldnt touch it, whats that tell you.
Pizza is okay, the gluten free offering is not suitable for celiacs (shared oven), but if you don't have any celiacs then the venue is fun, and the options are tasty.
I'd never been before and had heard good things. It's a bit pricey, but it wasn't bad taste wise. I got the taco pizza which, if you're wondering, doesn't reheat well. My sister seemed to enjoy her extra cheese. Taco pizza was somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 with tax and tip, for a small. I may go back but I'm not usually in that area. It was good to finally try it.
$31.28 for 3 toppings, with CANNED mushrooms Are you SERIOUS
NEVER AGAIN!
I'm embarrassed I got bamboozled for a three topping pizza for that price. Even if they were fresh, organic and flown in from ITALY.
Good luck pizza barn, you got me once, you won't get me again.
Anytime we are in the area we HAVE to stop at pizza barn. They have the best pepperoni pizza and this is a no fuss place. Very spacious, basically no wait to sit down. Takes a bit for the pizza to get out to you but its well worth it. Highly recommend.
