Nice, friendly place to stop for the night, close to the highway. Lots of open space to walk the dogs, and a nice creek, looks like it holds fish. Bathrooms have good showers, but the heaters don't work. Wifi slow, and the spaces aren't too level.
Serves it's purpose, though.
We stopped off here for a night stay while traveling back from a long road trip. I'm glad we did. None of us, 2 adults and 3 kids, were in any hurry to leave. The night was clear and sky was glowing with bright stars. In the morning we took a walk to the creek, while the kids biked around in exploration. It's the kinda creek that just makes you take your shoes off and get in. There's also so great, big, beautiful trees that provide ample shade. If you look past the highway there's a field with cows grazing that we found fun to watch. We're hoping to plan a trip to come back real soon. We would have stayed longer if the real world weren't waiting for us to come back.
Cant say enough. Loved it. Clean, maintained, friendly. For $33 nightly you get water, electricity and cable. Very friendly.
Very pretty setting. Some sights need a little leveling, but not too much. Is interstate noise as sits just off, though you have to drive couple miles to get to it. Hill steep going in but as seasoned rivers no huge deal. Hosts friendly.
This place has the cleanest bath house I have ever seen! Beautiful, spacious sites, creek below for tent camping, playground, gazebo and more. Owner's are wonderful and they enforce the rules!
Beautiful setting, make sure to take a walk by the river. Would have rated this place with five stars but we live in a very quiet place and any traffic noise bothers us. Nearby highway noise.
I actually stayed here in November 2016, I'm just catching up on reviews.
This is a really nice campground. I was only there for one night but everything worked, the people were friendly, check in was easy and there's a lot of property to walk the doglike acres. Plus there's a stream and it's pretty. It got cold the night I was there and the camp managers told me to be sure and fill my tank and unhook from the spiggot. That was nice to be warned. The only negative is that it is a very steep driveway getting up to the campground. I struggled a little going up and slipped a little going downbut it all worked out.
Start of second weekend, great place to stay. Doug and Lanny are the best
We just stayed one night but the owners showed utmost hospitality. We will be staying here again for sure!
Stayed 5 weeks - last week of August through September. Nice RV campground in a picturesque area. Doug, and especially Lanny, were very friendly and accommodating. Only two areas for improvement would be to add more dumpsters throughout the campground and add a laundry room. Did have a bad breakout of stink bugs the last week of our stay; possibly from a field next to the campground being mowed.
