I like this place, decent prices.
The manager was very rude when my sister in law returned a margerita that was tastless. Put some more liquor in it and walked away. Then proceeded to sell a gentleman with a pitcher of beer 3/4 with bud light and 1/4 budweiser. Im assuming its because he just refunded another guy's pitcher of bad beer. Horrible place hands down.
I bowl on a league here but they seem to care more about the college crowd. They are more worried about adding an arcade & pool tables then they are about maintaining the lanes. They updated the bathrooms a few years back, but they are still disgusting. They are not properly cleaned. They need to update the lanes & scorers if they truly care about the bowlers here. If you bring up issues to them, they always say they are sorry but the problems still continue.
Foods good enough I guess, bowlings a bit pricey. I played pool and they held on to my ID. Couldn't get it back when I was done since no one could get into the drawer, took a couple days. I was told it happens a lot. Not cool.
Old lanes and old shoes. Pinz is a great place to go to enjoy a few drinks and bowl a few frames. The bar is fast and has good specials. Food is typical bowling alley food; pizza, fries, etc. Not good; not bad. Just food. Overall I had a fun time, but there were some drawbacks. The bathrooms smelled horrible. They either don't clean it or don't clean it often as it just smelled rancid. I had to get a new pair of shoes because the sole was broken in the first pair and caused me to fall within the first 4 frames before noticing it. Lastly, the lanes are old. If you are a serious bowler looking for a good place to bowl regularly; avoid Pinz. You can see the lanes are uneven from being worn down over a long time in service.
Again Pinz has a good energy and great bar service. This makes Pinz a great place for friends to get together to bowl a few frames, but avoid if you are looking to better your game because the lanes won't do you any favors.
Quite a nice bowling alley. Lots of pool tables and lots of lanes. Floors arnt perfect but only because they're a popular destination. Great atmosphere.
Place to have some good quality fun. Easy to find
Super unprofessional! Three friends and I were looking to have some fun and a good time! My boyfriend injured his hand and couldn't bowl all that well. One of my friends went to ask the manager (the older lady) to see if we could have the bumper so my boyfriend could have fun, but not only was she rude she called us children and went to go talk to her fellow co-workers behind our back. I've worked in customers service for over 4 years and not once have I ever gave nor received such bad childish customer service!
Customer service was horrible and they were completely unprofessional. The management would not allow us to have bumpers up because we were not children, then insulted us to our face for asking. When we had gotten an associate at the front end to help, a manager finally came and gave us a reason why we could not have them, even though we had a friend with us that had an injury. The atmosphere was crumby, the manager was in sweatpants and a dirty T-shirt, and in general was just rude. We did not feel welcome at all and will not be going back. I would suggest anywhere else, even outside instead of going to Pinz. I do want to mention the only good point of the trip was the front end associate was very understanding and polite. I honestly feel bad for him having to deal with such poor management.
