  I checked in while waiting to close on my house. We had an issue but they addressed it and helped us. The kept our room immaculate. The breakfast was good. The front desk staff were great!

  Nice place to relax , watch the bird and wildlife of the top of the Everglades.

  Call the place first as they may offer cheaper prices than online. Great hot breakfast, wonderful view, just wish the bar was open

  Yes indeed this is a very nice place to bring the family
  Very safe
  Police patrol through regularly
  Plenty of parking
  Rooms are fairly modernized
  Great fishing.!!!!

  I've live in Okeechobee forever. The owner of the Peir 2 is a great host, and is always looking to improve on what is already a great resort in Okeechobee. He has completely renovated the pool and gazebos area, and yes I was a supplier (servicing all south Florida). It turned out amazing. Looks as nice as any entertainment resort pool on the coast. Congratulations!!

  I was referred to stay at Pier II from a friend. I was impressed for a small town how nice it was. Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff and a gorgeous view. Lulu at the front desk is a wealth of information about all the good places to eat and hang out. We had a few margaritas and cold beers down at the pier, enjoyed some good company mostly locals and out of town fishermen. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through. Its right on the out rim canal next to the lake O. Swimming Pool and a fishing pier are available to all guests.

  The Pier is amazing so friendly and outdoorsy :) I love how you could hear all the different sounds of frogs and see the baby alligators. The people are very nice and the pool table and music selection is awesome!! Would gladly come back :)

  I stayed at Pier II for 9 nights as part of a Quest Institute retreat. Let me tell you after 9 nights in a place you have a good understanding of what is good and not so good. (and I've stayed here for 4 retreats so far as a facilitator)
  The good: Outlets to charge your boat! The rooms are recently renovated, new furnishings, great mattresses, new TV, bathroom has all new fixtures including tub and toilet. The staff is very nice too.
  Did I mention the boat access -- there is plenty of room for your fishing boat, trailer, and your extended cab 4wd diesel. Outlets too to charge -- this place is made for fisherman. And I'm not one of them but I can appreciate these small features which add a lot.
  Not so good: there wasn't HBO. Yea, really, that's about the worse thing I could find
