Constantly voices her opinion on everything and insists that she is always right and everyone else isn't. She tries to force her political and religious views on people. She was a bit hard to be around and judges you by your camper(s), vehicle(s), pet(s). I did not feel welcomed none what so ever. Her husband is quite the opposite. He was kind, informative and showed plenty of hospitality.

Wendy, you're the greatest hostess. Keep it going and thanks again for making us feel so welcome. Doug &Meg

Due to Hurricane Irma we evacuated Sarasota Fl. Very long and frustrating hours on the road, horrible traffic and very little hope of finding fuel made for a very nerve wracking day.
Taking a chance I found Piddlers Point on line and took a chance on calling And hopefully finding a place to rest for the night.
Unbelievably, the owner answered the phone at approximately 2:00am and not only had a vacant spot for us to set up our RV, but told us to not worry about checking in and paying when we got there but to just find a place, set up and she would see us in the morning.
When Morning came, we were not asked to come to the office and pay for the night, but we're created with a "Good Morning" and an invite to some homemade biscuits and gravy to start our day.
What a breath of fresh air and assurance that there are will some down to earth, caring people out there in the world yet.
These people were awesome. The resort is clean, quaint, charming. The lots are perfect size and easy to set up I .
No- they are not designed for very large motor homes or extra long travel trailers, but offer a personal, friendly and most accommodating stay that one should expect.
Huge thanks for the owners and their personal caring hospitality that they offered us. If we are in the area again or decide to get out of town for awhile we will definitely stay at this resort again.
Check these people out when you travel.
Don't expect anything more then a down earth, caring hospitality and you'll have a great time.
    Thanks again-
    Galen Martin

Highly recommended! Super clean, family friendly, large clean pool, very clean bath house, and beautiful camp ground sites. The owners are extremely nice and helpful with all your needs. We will be reserving many more weekends to come.

The campground sites were way too small, but it is a cute campground. We couldn't even open our awning fully. It hit the RV beside us. The pool was great and the bathroom was clean. However, there was only one. Also, the owners, as nice as they were, made so much noise partying that we were kept up at night. Probably won't be staying there again.

The owners were super kind, the facilities were clean, the grounds were nice and the price was right.
There is even a little diner right across the street with some delicious burgers run by a very kind woman.

Steinhatchee is one of our most favorite out of the way places, and Piddler's Point is our new most favorite place to stay. Joe and Wendy have their own little slice of Heaven, and thankfully they are happy to share it. The setting is beautiful and relaxing, the pool and covered porch are unbelievable, and Joe and Wendy are so friendly! We will definitely be back, hopefully for the Fiddler Crab Fest of 2018!

Very clean, well set up and maintained RV park. This park has a bath house, bunkhouse for larger groups or families and a pool and deck (with ceiling fans to keep cool or bugs away). Picnic tables at all RV spots, nice pond at the back for fishing, and a few primitive tent sites. There is also a nice fire pit for use by all.
Easy access, area to park boat and large, level, graveled, back in slots.
The owners/staff are wonderful, friendly and very informative!

What probably makes this relatively small campground really nice is the friendly, hospital and helpful owners, Wendy and Joe. Forget some of the negative comments of previous reviews as they are from the previous owners. Big flat sites although maybe a little close for some with large RV's with huge wings. Clean facilities, and a pool the size of which rivals a Trump Resort. A negative is the pesky fleas after the sun starts to drop but this is common of all of Florida near the coast's and not of the campground. A neat little working fishing village with friendly natives and great fresh seafood. A definite go back to campground.
