  This was my puppy's first grooming experience. He is only four months old, and after reading the great reviews on the website, I prayed this was the place to take my puppy to get groomed. Let me tell you, the reviews were on point!!! The staff at petbar Alamo Heights is beyond amazing! They are friendly, helpful, honest about your pet's needs, and just overall absolutely wonderful and amazing! They do not try to nickel and dime you like other places do! My puppy is my emotional support animal, so I looked for a place that would take care of him like I do, and let me tell you, petbar did!! A big thank you to Debra! I cannot express the gratitude I feel for making Koda's first grooming experience a success!! She even gave me homework to do with him to ensure that the next visit is just as successful!! Trust me, if you are looking for an awesome place for your pet's grooming needs, please look no furtherpetbar Alamo Heights is the place!! You will not be disappointed!!!!

  Love coming here, literally come every week never leave disappointed. They take such good care of my baby and you can tell they truly care about the animals. The owner is fantastic, very dedicated to the business and will work with you on a personal level! Involved with the community and often does fun things for the owners and dogs ☺️

  Not the best grooming haircut I've experienced in the 6 years of being a pet owner. My dogs' hair was left choppy and unblended. We didn't ask for anything special, only a summer cut and to leave some hair on the ears. Now we'll have to take them to Woof Gang Bakery and try to get an appointment to get them fixed up. Giving it two stars because the facility is very clean and spacious. The bathing stations are fully equipped and can see how that's their main focus, but unfortunately grooming is not their forte. I hope they get experienced groomers soon.

  We are so excited that Petbar came to Alamo Heights!
  
  1. The facility is so far above anywhere else I've ever been; there is no comparison. It is open, safe, beautiful, and every detail works toward creating a fantastic experience for pups.
  
  2. The owners, Marc and Cyndi, are true dog lovers, and you can tell by both their words and their actions how much they care about their clients, both pups and people.
  
  3. Mykenna did an absolutely fantastic job with Freya's new summer cut; we could not be happier with her work and communication skills. Freya loved her!
  
  4. They have bathing memberships that are too good to pass up; Freya will definitely be a frequent flyer at Petbar.
  
  We can't wait to go back! ❤️

  What a great new place for cleaning & grooming your pets. Mark and the staff are awesome, super friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend using this place to keep your best friends clean & beautiful.
