  THIS KOA is located in a pristine forested are in central Michigan. The staff is outstanding. The services and entertainment provided by the staff for children exceed expectations, games, movies, hay rides and warm friendly employees. Lots are large and offer all the needed services. We stayed over labor day weekend. Great experience.

  This is the best time camping we have had in a very long time. The staff was very nice and the activities for kids and adults were just wonderful. They made this weekend a great success

  Pros: Clean bathrooms, quiet park.
  
  Cons: Park is about 20 miles outside Ludington, so no amenities are available. The Pere Marquette river is not even within walking distance. Unlike most campgrounds, there is no water anywhere making the dirt sites a swirling dust-bowl. The enclosed dog park is used as a goat pen so when the goats are gone, your dog can eat the goat poop. The proprietors are friendly enough but will not help resolve issues. There are lots of bunnies in the playground area at night, so expect an abundance of rabbit raisins for your children.
  
  Conclusion: Seek a campground anywhere else but here. You will thank me.
