I have been going to this salon for yearsmore like decades. I love the staff, and the results I get from going here. I get compliments on my hair often.
Whether it's hair, pedicures, waxing, or massage I'm always happy when I leave. The staff is beyond knowledgeable and always do an amazing job. People's Salon and Spa is the place to go!
This is one of the finest salons in Waterville. They are talented stylists, who are current in their skills and relevant! They are professionals, and always are positive and respectful. Every time I go, I am greeted as a friend, and I am never disappointed with any of their services!
This salon is located next to a Program for adults with special needs. Yesterday I heard nasty comments coming from the owner and the staff about these people and the Program they attend. It is disturbing and I will never attend or recommend your business to anyone.
Great place! 8 treatments done once a week with a little exercise and drinking water, can change a few bad eating habits.
Nail service was painfully average, and sanitation questionable. My tech did not introduce herself, she just asked if I was there for a set, didn't even confirm my name. I was not asked to wash my hands before the service, and when I suggested it she said I could if I "wanted to". Implements were taken directly from disinfectant, wiped and then dumped back in with no additional cleaning, this really worried me. She filed (with a file that appeared used no less) a TON of my natural nail off, first thing. I don't believe etching to that extent is necessary OR safe then out came the tips! Fantastic. I read on the site that nails were custom sculpted, so I expected forms. Oh no then came MORE filing, this time my nails were extremely opaque and scratched looking. Her sculpting over tips skills were pretty good but tips ultimately lead to the "duck" look very flared and cheap looking not to mention they pulled at my natural nails and ACHED for days after I finally soaked them off at home and was greeted by SERIOUSLY jacked up nail plates for 40 dollars + tip, unacceptable. If I wanted semi-sanitary duck foot tips, I'd go spend 20 dollars at the mall salon DO NOT RECOMMEND although you might check out the older tech.
Friendly and they provide consistently great haircuts no matter who I see. I usually just go for a walk in and for 12 years, I've never had a bad cut.
