Me and my wife love the peddler steakhouse. We visit at least once per month, the service is outstanding. Our favorite is the fillet, we appreciate the fact that a 7 ounce fillet is the final weight after being cooked! It’s always cooked to perfection if not they will cook another one no questions asked, just great service. Your glass is always full, the staff work together to ensure your every need is cared for. The salad bar is awesome, such a great selection and the French onion soup and bread are the best! They also have a dinner card that allows you to buy one meal get one free, it’s worth purchasing. Would highly recommend the peddler over outback. You get what you pay for, it’s worth a little more for a much better meal in my opinion. Keep up the great work Peddler your customers appreciate all your hard work and great service!!

Got the Peddler’s steak. It was cooked to perfection but proved to be very difficult to chew and about 1/3rd unedible fat (see photo). Based on other high ratings, maybe this was just a one-off. I would have given one star for steak but service was good.

Haven’t been back since our celebratory engagement dinner here and won’t be back ever again when there are far better steak choices in Boone. Three years later we still talk about how awful the steak was. I have absolutely no idea how this place is still around- nostalgia maybe?

Service is great. Streak was overdone. Salad bar makes the world go round. Super decent birthday dinner. Next time I will just get the shrimp.

Even though we had quite a wait, it gave me an opportunity to observe the fantastic teamwork they have there at The Peddlers. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Allison was our waitress and was fantastic. It was amazing to see all the staff working together. The food was outstanding and the service was great.

This steakhouse is by far the best complete dining experience I've had the pleasure to enjoy! Salad/Soup bar is always fresh and delicious. Hot rolls melt in your mouth. Ribeye was best ever! To top off the food quality, they have a server who filled my drink literally every few minutes! Couldn't ask for better service. Price is commensurate for what you get. Two thumbs up and 5 earned stars!

Un real. Best place in 100 miles. Maybe more. Come check the place out. 10 star place. First we rode in on motorcycls and the first thing the manager asked was if he could take our helmets and he placed them where we could eat. Then the service was a 20 and the food was a 20.9. We will be back for sure. Keep up the great work. Thanks again.

Good was very good. Staff very attentive. But, I was very surprised that the Peddler cutting your meat at your table was handling the meat and writing order with a pen bare handed. He was young and his nails were dirty. I worried the whole time I was there about his nasty hands on the raw meat. I think this should be addressed.

I'm a fan of The Peddler.
I've been a customer of this restaurant for many years (almost my entire life, in fact), and it's kept me coming back. Indeed, the Peddler experience is quintessential fine dining: grade-A steaks and seafood, personalized service, a homey, low-light dining room. Also, the staff has, in my experience, always been comprised of good folks who know how to please. Though, what I've always liked best about the restaurant is its salad bar, of all things (the only salad bar I've been to with caviar and other up-market goodies).

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in Boone. If you are corporate executive looking for a restaurant to impress a client or just a local looking for a romantic eatery, this is the place. One of the best (if not THE best) steaks I've ever had, the Peddler never disappoints. If you decide you agree and find yourself frequenting the restaurant, they have a special club card that offers an AMAZING discount that every member of my family owns. If you're in town visiting your student and are looking for a great meal, give the Peddler a try. You won't regret it.
